I have the dvr hd cctv but one camera just stopped working also the camera at the rear of my house is not showing up on the screen when I search the history of events but shows up on the other screen to watch them all and lastly my phone got lost and it won’t let me add through qr code on hard drive it says something like already active how do I get it to work on my new phone and delete my old one tia

Hi John, I had similar problem cameras stop working without any reason in mycase I found that power pack was very hot also someone posted that this usually happen when power pack is about to die, what I did when camera stop working I unplug cable for that camera from dvr box for 5 minutes and plug back up again than camera will work for some time until one of the other camera stop working than I will repeat process again. This is was only temporary fix on until I got new power pack, since I start using new power pack I don't have issue cameras to stop working. I am not sure what the process is if you lost your phone maybe best is to get advice from Swann. I hope you will resolve your issue soon, good luck with everything.

I have a NVR8580 with IPC 865. I mounted the camera under the eave of my house and the camera image is Upside down. I tried to find the flip or mirror image in the OSD settings but it doesn't exist. In fact the none of the OSD settings do anything- focus, iris and the arrow buttons. Why don't the OSD setting work?

Go to Setup / Display choose the camera by clicking the wagon wheel icon. It should show you a list of camera options. Change the angle rotation from 0 to 180.

I have just had one of these systems put in my home and works very well indeed. However, I have an electric radio plugged into the same power socket and when I listen to AM radio (3AW) the radio statics, not only in the study but also my living area. The radio in the garage statics as well. Besides changing to an FM band, do you have any ideas on a resolution for the AM stations?

What is main purpose function of the audio output?
