almost immediately and my kidney function also dropped despite never having had a kidney problem before.

I took it on the recommendation of my GP but unfortunately had to stop taking it. My liver and kidney function tests have returned to normal after stopping Ashwagandha for several weeks.

So, even though it's a great product, be aware that the herb itself, from any company, can cause problems. There are a lot of online warnings so I decided to take the risk but checked back with my GP for liver testing.
