Total lemon – Bought 12/7/2020. Repaired Jan 21 - new motherboard that fixed 1 issue only. Recurrent but spasmodic issue of sound and no picture or picture and no sound. Took to NSW Appeal Tribunal who had no technology to view numerous videos and dismissed my case as I would let it go to workshop for FOURTH time and issue not reoccuring. now running up screen and TCL are sending me the same model they reckon. Refused refund . Ummm, luckily not available in stores for ages but maybe they have a lemon tree out the back. Offering 6 months warranty. This will be interesting.
Worst tv brand, customer service and also the c815 model – I had a different model for 2 year which failed twice and been repaired with lot of headaches, at 3rd time they decided to replace it with this junk which died completely just after the 6 months warranty expired. I paid $2495 hopefully thats what I get to spend in store!!! fed up already remind me again, what people did without a television ARGH lol Update: Jbhifi decided they would swap it for one of the same type. I took tv into store and wouldn't leave until they gave me another one. Would not deliver at there cost so I took it home in my car and guess what... Within week it had a green patch in screen. Will not buy another one. Instore customer service I cannot fault, very apologetic and helpful.

More crap from TCL – I got this tv as a replacement for my other faulty tv. Under warranty. Service from TCL call centre is dismal. It took months to sort out and get a replacement. Never came to my home. In home warranty is a joke. Replacement TV lasted 13 months then just faded to black. Common issue i found out from other reviews. I have bought a NAME brand this time. I accept faults can happen, (although this fault, it seems, is not uncommon and my concern is the replacement TV will still have the same problematic component) however the service is extremely slow and appears to be a low priority for TCL.

separate Google tv device to run through HDMI which has made things better but it still crashes all the time and turns itself on and off etc. The worst part though is that the sound is completely stuffed and has been for about 9 months now, where when you turn it on and part way through watching something the sound is funny like a high-pitched chipmunk is living inside the TV talking but you can't understand a word it's saying. It's annoying enough that it happens in between almost every episode but it's even more annoying when it happens part way through an episode. You have to do a complete reboot which takes about 5 minutes because it's so slow. Honestly, don't make the mistake I did, avoid this brand like you would Covid.
TV Black Screen in 8 months, PLUS bad customer service – I have purchased this TV (Model Number: TCL 75C815) from late last year - DEC 2020. Initially, I were pretty happy. and might goes away by itself. Early this month, this TV unit just went into BLACK Screen by itself any even power cycle could not revive it. As TCL offer 3 years in house repair for this TV, rang support number and logged the ticket. After 3 days, (11th of AUG) the technician (TCL pointed) came and did the diagnostic and quickly decided the TV is beyond repairable and pushed back to TCL for replacement. However, I did not receive any confirmation from TCL. So rang them up, and I got the confirmation over the phone - Due to the 75C815 is no longer available, they will deliver a replacement TV 75C825 to me and will take the faulty unit away by using the same box. I have accepted the solution. I thought that is the end of the issue, No! the hassle just started, on 18th of AUG (Last Wednesday), I have received the call from the TCL support and said the replacement model has been changed to 75C725 (Which is a downgraded model of C8 serial model, lack of a lot of functions of C8 serials) -- On the spot, I have refused it and demanded for the direct upgraded model 75C825 as they promised before, or at least, the same model. After this, the only reply I have received from TCL was -- Waiting for "Area manager" to approve. Even I haver followed up for at least 5 times and dragged for days with on further answer! Come on TCL, as a international company and big player in TV industry, please treat your customer with respect! A faulty TV unit is not that that bad, a bad reputation of the brand is really really bad!
Very slow and lots of delay – Annoying delay when press a button on remote control as well as delay in switching from one app to another app. Netflix take 10 to 20 second to open. Evern switching between TV channels has a lag.Remote control voice control active occasionally without our intention and pause tv. Don't recommend it. Show details
Good but has flaws – You can get light bleed through at night you need to turn the brightness down also google assistant is laggy. Android is great a little slow sometimes but it’s liveable, no now tv though. great more than up for the job. It is a tv where you do need to play with the settings to get the best from it but once there you won’t need to adjust it. It’s a great tv for the money, good buy

Worst customer support – If you wanna buy any product from TCL I simply suggest think 1000 times and see if other options available. after over 20 days of the complaint they still asking for videos. They don't bother once you buy there product then it's only customer turn to suffer.. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

TCL 75C815 – I've had the TV for about a month now. It's an excellent choice if you don't want to fuss with a sound bar as the Onkyo sound is great with the sub on the back of the TV. The Sub doesn't really affect the size either, with a fixed wall mount the tv only sticks out 9cm. The sound and picture quality are amazing. We are really happy. Show details
Terrible Edge light/Backlight Bleed – I bought this 75 inch TV from local Good guys store and returned it within a day as there were patches of white light leaking onto the panel making viewing dark content next to impossible. Was offered a replacement and the same issue with that too so returned that as well and went with Sony X9000H much happier with it. Show details

A TV for day viewing – I start with the good stuff such as speedy processor and high brightness. TCL uses Android Tv which can be clunky at times. Our Planet - High Seas was not a joy at all. I contacted TCL Australia and they asked if I can email a few pics, in which I did. To cut a chase, the store sent me another unit (at the request of TCL) and take the first one back to store or else. You guessed it, the second unit is slightly worsen picture. Lucky me!
I tweaked picture setting to dimmer/darker pictures and turn off unnecessary processing. Blew pics are from 1st unit. TCL's customer service has been fantastic so far and they responded to my enquiry in three days. I was about to send back the second unit (authorised by TCL) but I decided not to, due to lower price of this unit.
Less than what I expected from Price and Specifications, Bluetooth 5.0 NOT fully supported – After a month of asking to TCL support they admitted in writing that c815 has hardware limitation regarding Bluetooth 5.0. It will never be able to stream audio on two bluetooth devices simultaneously as per Bluetooth 5.0 capabilities. No software update will ever fix it. Chromecast built in, yes ..works..but not all functionalities as per external proper Chromecast.
In conclusion a CHEAP TV.. it works...but do not expect much..
Not sure if I just got a lemon – The TV looked good but I found the image was too sharp no matter what I did to adjust, also the sound was off.. quite in talking moments but Supper loud in action moments. Also the screen would go yellow, the volume and remote had a serious lag. Would not recommend.
