It just blew me away I am impressed – I already have two TCL television so I knew the products are good hence after some research and reviews I bought this sound bar from bing lee for $180 as part of EOFY sale.When I plugged it in to my TCL tv I was blown away with the sound effects it looked like I am in a Dolby theater I can tell you it's better then my Sony sound bar and Bose speakers.I wish I had bought this before.

Absolutely love it! Great sound! – I bought this about a month ago. I did my research on a low range sound bar & this came out to be the best with many positive reviews especially since it only came out recently, I am very impressed. Although initially, the sales guy at JB HiFi convinced me to buy Panasonic SC-HTB488. Not realising it was a 2017 model, and only having a handful of good reviews online. When I asked him what honestly was the better model between the two, he said the Panasonic of course. So I bought that at first. He compared the Panasonic and TCL to buying a BMW or a Holden. The Panasonic being the BMW supposedly. The Panasonic's sub woofer lasted 30 minutes! Turns out I bought the last one, so he was obviously just getting rid of old stock. Not really answering me truthfully about which really is the better model. He never mentioned the Panasonic was a 2017 model, and it looked older too compared to the TCL which only came out end of 2019. So I took it back and got what I originally planned on buying myself, the TCL. TOP TIP! Always do your own research & ost importantly don't let any sales person change your mind once you're in store.

Brilliant soundbar/woofer for the price – Clear sound, balanced bass and 3 distinct modes to select from on the remote. This is an uncomplicated but honest speaker system which will absolutely not disappoint for the price.

Waste of Time & Money – This was bought on the basis of price and a Choice review. Whilst I did not expect top performance it turned out to be useless. The HDMI-ARC channel only connected to my LG TV 50% of the time and when it did it powered off 50% of the time within the next 2hours. Calls to TCL 'support' took 'only' 30 mins wait time only to be told - "talk to your TV manufacturer". LG were more helpful but could not compensate for a poor TCL product.
The retailer gladly refunded me my money and shared his (less than flattering) opinion of the TCL product.
I wasted > 10 hours on this unsatisfactory product.
