Tefal turn off – Bought this air fryer as Tefal is a decent brand. However, cannot regulate food temperature control & my food ends up charcoal. also, heat comes from the bottom, not good for the benchtop. instructions are predominately foreign & are not suitable for the usual scan & perusal. Unsafe for your benchtop – Picked this up a couple of days ago and once I ran it I found out it releases all its super hot air from the bottom. Had I known this I wouldn't have bought it, there are no warnings or anything about it. Family and friends have Philips and Ninja branded ones that don't heat up down the bottom. try and keep. They have certainly made a winner. We are able to grill steaks without going out and starting up the barbecue. We are able to fry a range of products for easy quick consumption. It is easy to clean. We put it in our dishwasher. But it really probably should be hand wash. It is easy to use and has a range of great functions. I also love that my teenage son can use it and I don’t need to constantly make food for him! I would 100% buy this product.
Disappointed – On receipt - tried adjusting the time and temperature - to no avail.... temperature stayed on 200C. Contacted Telfal and, after much deliberation, was told that 200C was it - not adjustable...stays on 200C, no matter what! Show details
Good but loud – Easy to use, cooks food quickly and makes things crispy on the outside and juicy/fluffy/tender on the inside. But it is LOUD. It's like someone standing in the kitchen with a hairdryer on. I tend to put it in the laundry room if I'm doing a long cook. Show details
Only lasted 14 months of light use – I really enjoyed this airfryer. Looks good and worked well for the first 12 months. Great chips and for a quick pie or fish fillet. Then the display went, followed by complete failure. I liked mine so much that I bought a second as a gift for a friend! Not good enough for a $300 air-fryer. The second one was closer to $300.00. Now I'm up for the cost of repair, which I'm waiting to hear back on. I can only hope the second one gives my friend better service. I miss it, that's for sure It's a big outlay for such a short useful life. UPDATE: 30/04. I never heard from tefal after the 15 day mediation opportunity given to them. I have now paid $89.00 for a repair to my 14 month old TEFAL Air fryer. It was unable to be repaired fully due to the control panel being unavailable. It functions but sadly means I won't be buying any tefal branded products again. I find this a pretty lame customer service experience considering that most businesses have moved away from the old model of Zero Customer Care and offer excellent service. "Fail Tefal".

am disappointed with the two major functions of time and temperature, as the dials make them hard to be accurate as they are only little strokes between time and temperature which is testing accuracy. My old fryer had actual digital temps and timers which were coloured and gave exact time and temps without having to guess. That being said, and it is a smaller machine( No 2 T bones cooked at same time) the griller and easy clean is a winner. l

clean - it does form a build-up around the inside of the basket if not very well washed every use, and the basket insert is a big pain to get properly clean.
Now for the negatives
When I bought the air fryer late November 2021, I was a bit concerned about the quality of the non-stick coating on the basket insert. It just looked “loose”. I contacted Tefal customer support in June 2022, when the air fryer was 7 months old, with an enquiry about the progression of the “bubbly” appearance of the coating. All I received by way of a response was a list of service centres where I could purchase spare parts. A cooking appliance less than a year old should not need parts replacing! It’s now the start of September and the coating is beginning to flake off.
Fantastic product – Purchased the Easy Fry & Grill for use in the caravan. Only purchased the standard size as only using for two people. Used it every day on our recent holiday and did a fantastic job on the grilled salmon and other meals. Pros: Good size with a nice footprint. Sits solidly without risk of falling. different types of meals. Cleans really easily. Food just wipes off with no effort at all. Cons: The Cooking compartment does not have a slider, so there is a risk that it could be dropped. But slid in and out quit smoothly, as opposed to some other air fryers we have looked at.
Excellent so far still new to Air fryer – Brought this yesterday boxing sales. Went home and decided to cook frozen chips cooked for 20 mins after viewing you tube didn’t realise I could stop and shake before complete cycle. Parts were brown and white but they were still yummy.
