Now 19 months old and you need to guess where the "on-off" button is. It no longer illuminates. I have been trying to get in touch with Tefal.com.au to enquire on the warranty. problem is the oil that accumulates and drips at the bottom of the unit. It is quite heavy to lift to clean it regularly.
Otherwise cooks well and presents a generous frying area.
After several efforts to reach out to Tefal's customer service before publishing this review, there is no response from them.

stick basket which is dishwasher safe. Efficient and fast heat up so quicker than a conventional oven. It’s an excellent addition for cooking convenience. I still use my conventional oven for certain dishes but a great addition for all the family to use.

silicon feet a couple have cracked and need replacing. All of this is really not an issue and is probably expected with use. What we didn't expect is the cost of replacing the tray at approx $72 plus postage and handling. Other brands are about half the price.
Follow-up · 2 years on and we still love the air fryer. Used at least 3 + times a week, have just discovered good for baking bread. Scratches were from placing a metal tray/cake tin inside to prevent the fryer tray from getting too greasy, still do this but accept that it will scratch the tray. Would purchase another if this one fails.
Didn't last long – This air fryer was great until it stopped working just after the warranty period ended. I would recommend buying a different brand and avoiding Tefal which is what I'll be doing from now on. Show details

Excellent Airfryer – Just got my Airfryer and cooked a whole roast chicken. It was golden brown and crispy skin in just one hour. Chicken has never come out of the oven like this. Love the Tefal air fryer roomy tray, easy to use. Look forward to lots of cooking adventures with my new Tefal Airfryer. Show details
It's ours now – Originally brought as a present, but now resides in our kitchen. When unit was unpacked, no proper cook book found, just a cheap print off not good for aged eyes! Also, unit is not made in France as originally read online, but from China. Will have to enlarge pages 11/12 to read this tiny print & will report cooking when used. Should of got it long time ago – accurate timing for cooking. Perfectly cooked food, can't fault it. Should of bought it long time ago.Have done lot of cooking with it and I am just amazed how perfectly everything comes out. it.What I love from this product is how easy is to clean it and how easy is to remove tray. LED display shows everything in an easy language to understand and at the push of a button I am all done with.Just love it. We are cooking in it at least 3-4 times a week. Strongly recommend.
Great! – We have only had this around a month but love it already. Its our second air fryer, it's used on average 3-4 times a week for the two of us. This unit is certainly a better fit for us, its a nice wide deep space to cook in. We like to put dishes inside & this unit has the width & depth to fit a good size dish for potato makes. but the basket is dishwasher safe. It’s a personal preference of mine to treat non stick surfaces with extra care. Food does burn quickly in the air fryer so it’s important to monitor food closely while you learn cooking behaviours of different foods. I think the cooking instructions included in the box were inadequate and the safety instructions need to be re-written. I’m hearing impaired and the instructions implied I need to be supervised which I found offensive. It also states the guarantee doesn’t apply in farm houses, like my house. It’s a very stylish cooker, it does take up a bit of space but is lighter than other bench top ovens.
Tefal easy fryer deluxe xxl air fryer – I just purchased this model and I just love it. First the price is so much cheaper compare to phillips, then its so much easy to clean due to the non stick plate and not attach to the pot. It can fit a whole chicken but doesn't look bulky, it also easy to use, touch screen and quiet. Show details
