A perfect addition to your kitchen
We absolutely love our new Tefal Easy Fry Grill & Steam appliance. We have roasted chickens, pork and spare ribs on the roasting option, but also steamed both fish and vegetables on the steam option. We have even baked a cake as there is an option for this too! The air frying option is great for any food and is so much quicker than a conventional oven, thus saving on both time and money. Grilling is also a great option. We would thoroughly recommend this appliance.

This unit is amazing. This is my second air fryer. I was so impressed with my Tefal air fryer that I gave my original one to a family member and snatch up this beauty with steam and grill functionality added. The air fryer works as well as my previous air fryer the tray has plenty of space and I can fit a whole chicken, lamp chops or roasted vegetables. Read moreo effective. This unit cuts my cooking time by at least a third. Best rule of thumb is that if packaging says it takes 21 mins in an oven it probably takes 2/3rds of the time in the air fryer. All steamed veg has been crunchy and well steamed. The cooking seems even but I do make sure to toss roast vegetables if I am doing a full tray so that nothing burns. It’s so safe to use that a tween child could use it with confidence once they know to be careful when pulling out the warm tray. My only criticism is that there was no clear instructions in the manual about how to use the steamer. I ended up just working it out myself. There is an online recipe book that is available for you to download after you have purchased the unit. The grill is irks as expected but just double check timing the first few times until you get it right. The unit is so food that I plan to buy another one so that I can steam and air fry at the same time for meals where I want roasted meat but steamed veg. I have seen reviews of other, equally premium air fryers and some have quite significant issues and are more expensive than this unit. In summary I have found that this unit has not given me any issues at all. I would recommend this to anyone who is time poor or in households with 3 or less people in the home. It’s far more energy efficient than putting an oven on to preheat for 30 mins. Go for it! We have a healthier diet because of this handy and super easy to use appliance.Purchased in at The Good Guys for $350.

Wow, absolutely could not live without it
This is an amazing Airfryer, given to me as a gift, use it nearly everyday, from steaming fish, to reheating pizza, & so easy to clean, would highly recommend to anyone!

All airfryers are not equal
Prior to purchasing this machine I have had 2 Philips airfryers in the last 6 years. When the 2nd Philips started to malfunction I decided to go with a different brand as there is so much more choice now than there used to be.
I researched and liked this model for the addition of the grill and steam function. I have some other Tefal appliances and like them so thought it was a safe option.
First issue, in my research the Tefal website states in the specifications that this is dishwasher safe. After reading the instructions that come with it...
Read more states that the bowl and the grids are not dishwasher safe. False advertising. The default setting at turn on is grill, so each time you turn it on you have to change it to airfry which seems ridiculous given it's an airfryer as it's main function. I excitedly tried the grill function, it did not leave grill marks and produced average burgers , no different to if you had just cooked them in an airfryer normally without the plate and special function. Disappointing after waiting for the requisite 15 minute preheat of the grill plate and the handwash afterwards. Not worth the effort.Purchased in at Myer Online Store.

Read moreparts and will let you know as soon as we hear back. As for the grill marks, the die-cast plate has 2 sides: one side would have the searing marks and the other side is flat. The grid is made of die-cast aluminium and so it is heavier than the usual grid, therefore we recommend the use of food tongs.
