Excellent – I have just bought this product from Dick Smith Moonee Ponds in Melbourne. So far I have nothing but praise for it. Excellent Record Player, Excellent CD Player. It plays proffesional CD'S & home made ones too. Good Radio & Tape Player also. In other words as the title suggests Excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this player to another person As I said in my report Excellent

glad to return it – I purchased one of these just after xmas and when I played a record it shut off prematurely. Rang Thomson's to explain the problem and was told to take it back to the store of purchase. The store exchanged without a problem and we checked the turntable shutoff before we left. Took it home and set it up again, this time using the speakers that came with the unit instead of my older large ones. As soon as I cranked up the volume the speakers became distorted and rattly. In disgust I decided to use my own speakers and loaded 3 CD's and sat back to enjoy the music on random select. Not to be, within 5 songs the playing stopped and the message on the LCD was door error. After trying 12 different CD's with the same result it is on it's way back to the store for a refund.
