Still going strong after 15 years – Love it. Can't fault it. Negative reviews about wiring & melting must surely be from ones made since mine? I think I paid about $35 for it well over a decade ago. Show details

Tiffany slow cooker – I have had my tiffany slow cooker for approx. 5 years, and its fantastic, I put all my ingredients in, switch it on to low in the morning, and have a delicious meal ready for dinner, it does a great job, and when Im finished, its very easy to clean, I love cooking up stews and casseroles in it, especially during the colder winter months  Show details

10 years old and I loved it!!! – I just loved my Tiffany SC4550!! I've had it for about 10 years and it just started to trip the rcd today!! I used this slow cooker for everything. Used it about three times a week for its entire life. you can't ask for more than that! It was cheap to purchase and I didn't expect it to last as nearly as long as it did. I would buy it again if I… Read more

could get it. The reviews for the new tiffany model is quite alarming with the leg melting and the power cord then melting touching the body. yikes.

perfect – I have had my slow cooker for almost 10 years now. My mother brought it for me for Xmas and I still use it today. Only issue I have found with it is the knob broke and I can't find a replacement. So now I use pliers. A broken knob still won't make me retire it.. it's perfect never burnt or over done a meal. Holds enough for a family of 6. Bit disappointed they arnt made any more.

Dangerous product – Foot on bottom melted and shorted out cable, residual heat burnt top of bench, wrote to GAF and not even the courtesy of a reply. Dangerous item that will cause a serious fire. Obviously the plastic feet are not heat resistant

Good – I like using this slow cooker. I find that it cooks true to the tempreatures you use. My casseroles turn out tender and evenly cooked. I use both operations of cooking and fins the suto is great if you want to cook a little faster. Would definately buy this product again. price is great. I love the size of this slow cooker. The ease to which you… Read more

can take out the bowl for easy cleaning. Its easy to operate with a turn of the button. The pattern on the outside I feel is a bit dated. Maybe they could look at more decorative styles and colours to fit in with decors

Good – I LOVE it - I make everything from casseroles and soups to roasts in it, and once I learn to make more I will use it more. Looks good, and cleans up well in the dishwasher. Even after 4 years! The white ceramic insert holds the heat well when its switched off too. The wide base is good for fitting roasts etc in. I like the High/Low/Auto… Read more

option. I can put something on in the morning on low or auto and it will not be overcooked by the time I get home for dinner. Takes a little while to warm up when really full of cold liquid, but then that helps it cook SLOW;

Because its oval it takes up a bigger footprint on the bench

Excellent – I have owned my Tiffany slow cooker for around 5 years now, and come winter I would be lost without it. Cooks even the toughest cut of meat so it melts in your mouth. I have even cooked whole chickens in my family size 5 litre slow cooker. I love the removable bowl which makes cleaning a breeze. When going on holidays I prepare a casserole and… Read more

when we get to our destination I plug it in turn it on low and it reheats in no time. Large capacity 5 litre, high/low/auto options. Removable easy wash ceremic bowl. absolutely nothing.

Terrible – Unless you are really broke, I'd avoid this one. It was okay while it lasted but you wouldn't want to leave it on during the day if you weren't home. It was cheap It cooked really fast for a slow cooker. Control knob broke within a year. It shorted out the whole house after 18 months because it had burnt through it's wiring.
