This was a great vacuum until I had to replace the filter - customer service helped choose the right filter. Once I replaced the filter, the vacuum stopped working. The customer service team tried to help but as helpful as the were it was a lot of back and forth (I agree I was slow to respond- I’m time poor and not a service technician) and the… Read more
intent was to replace parts until it was fixed - after already spending over $100 I gave up and threw the whole machine out. It would have cost me more the a new appliance. My 3 stars is due to not having any repair centres - this was not a $300 vacuum and the idea of diagnosing an issue over the phone does not work for me.
This is the worst vacuum cleaner I've ever had keeps stopping.. Clean the filter & still don't work..Have to wait for it to cool down before it will work again & doesn't run for long before getting hot..A total waste of money I should of got a werthin or another Dyson Show details
Looooove it! – Looooooooove it! I was wary after buying so many crappy stick vacuums in the past. I went to Vacuum Cleaners plus for advice and to support a small local shop. I love the power it offers when you need it. Lock the on button so you don't have to grip (I have arthritis) and all the attachments to clean the bed mattress, ducted heating vents,… Read more
architraves etc. I was all prepared to buy the most expensive vacuum after buying mediocre $400 ones in the past, but this was about $1000 less than top range Dyson and does an excellent job. Remember stick vacs wont do a whole house on one battery , depending on the power settings you use, but for what I want it for one or two rooms at a time, quick run around, or an intensive mattress clean its fabulous! Oh, and it comes with a prefilter cleaner too...
Will not be buying Tineco again after this very disappointing purchase – Have to agree with many other customers, this is a truly disappointing purchase. We purchased this when Godfreys were closing down. At half price it was 'affordable'. Considering it's usual retail price, it would be a quality item right? Nope. I can suck harder than this thing can. It's battery life is absolutely hopeless. The only saving grace… Read more
for me was all the extra attachments, it has made it helpful for cleaning the car. It's doesn't clean the car well, as it doesn't suck well, but if it did, it'd be great for cleaning a car! But that is all. I will never again buy a Tineco product. This was a complete waste of money. Compared to a Dyson product of the same value it is rubbish. Don't waste your money. For hard floors it's okay, but is useless on carpet. It has fantastic lights out the front of the head to show you all the things you want to vacuum up, but it doesn't actually vacuum them up. Very useless.
Waste of money!! – Definitely not worth the price. With Theo toddlers, two dogs and one income we thought it would be a good purchase, oh what a waste of money. The Kmart stick vacuum worked better. We thought we’d try just the vacuum before purchasing the two in one vac and mop from Tineco. So not sure if that actually works, but I’m glad we didn’t spend the 1500 or so on that first. Will prob be looking into the shark vac and mop Show details
Wasted my money, it seemed great in the store – When in store it seemed to work really well. The sales person said it is as good as a Dyson but cheaper. It still was rather expensive but it did seem to work well. Soon at home I realised its main issue is debris getting stuck in the little bendy hose bit between the vacuum head and rod. It works well for a short bit and then it gets worse… Read more
and worse. I have to keep pulling it apart and trying to jam my fingers or anything that will fit into that bendy section because you can't pull that particular bit apart. It is terrible. I should have put my money into a Dyson. So disappointed because I can't afford to now I have bought this.
Poor performing for the price – Rolls Royce price range gogo mobile performance. this is the worst vacuum cleaner we have purchased -Battery life was ok for around 12 months considering there are 2 batteries it is a pretty poor life span when the machine is mainly used on hard flooring. Inspected after six months) -Suction and cleaning seems to blow debris to the side rather… Read more
than draw in. Had Godfreys check it and said it was fine. Better off using a broom. -Filters are good with a good reverse clean for the filters Would I recommend or purchase another? NO!!
Please don't buy – Family of 5. Carpet n tiled house. Useless suction. Clunky. $700 down the drain. Surprised Godfrey's put their name to this product. Cheers. Show details
The Rolls Royce of stick vacuums – If you're in the market for a cordless stick vacuum that is light weight, easy to use and can clean the house on one charge this is the one to get. It comes with attachments for upholstery, crevices and delicate surfaces where a brush is required as well as a removable battery so you can have a spare. It comes with 2 filters so you can wash one… Read more
with water and still use the vacuum as well as an attachment to clean a filter with suction prior to washing. For a quick spot clean on carpet it has variable suction amd it will auto adjust the suction or yiu can manually set to max suction. On normal setting you get a good 40mins of run time but this is drastically reduced where suction is on the Max setting. The charging station is wall mountable and it holds the different attachments.
Great features! – Purchased for my small Apartment to avoid constantly tripping over cord, and hose of my barrel vacuum! Result excellent! Vinyl plank, carpet and wool rugs, curtains and couch .. all fantastic results! Very easy to operate & quiet Auto power surge when required Attachments very functional & very easily changed Filter cleaner ingenious Battery… Read more
life not an issue Upholstery attachment for my velvet couch brilliant [ Only one concern .. but easily remedied. .. I'm purchasing the Hard Floor Roller Head ]
Disappointed with this product – Sold to us as better than a Dyson but the battery doesn't last long enough and the attachments don't suck the way the main head does. We are really disappointed with this product.
Totally loving it! – I’ve had this vac for just over a month now and I totally love it. The suction is great. I find it light, easy to maneuver, love the headlights - they are so much handier than I expected for noticing dust. I like how there is a switch to hold it on and the max power button in a convenient spot. The dust sensing function is really great and… Read more
saves moving between power settings manually. I find the wireless function and app a bit annoying - who carries their phone while vacuuming? I would prefer to have all the power functions on the actual vac. It’s not a huge issue as the sensor does it but app is a bit gimmicky. The filter cleaner is genius. The upholstery head is fantastic and it’s so easy to change between parts and into hand held. I also really love the hair tool and how easily the whole thing comes apart for cleaning. So far I cannot fault this vac and haven’t used my trusty super sucker corded Electrolux since buying this. Haven’t had the battery run flat on me yet so can do the whole house without charging in between. The clear barrel and indicator lights are really helpful for noticing full dustbin.
