I purchased this vacuum a few years ago at Godfrey’s. I went into the store to get a Dyson and the assistant talked me into this one. Told me it was better. They must surely get a higher commission for selling these or maybe the backroom was just full of stock they couldn’t move because no one in their right mind would this this is superior to a… Read more

Dyson. It can barely suck up particles the size of sand, forget anything bigger. The ‘auto increase suction’ is completely random, it’s like playing the pokeys while you vacuum - will it have enough suction this pass??! And then even when I some how manages to collect some small particles as soon as you release the trigger to stop suction it dumps half of what you’ve vacuumed on the floor. So if you’re up for spending your time randomly moving dirt around the floor this is the vacuum for you! Honestly if they were giving these out for free I’d keep walking.

Purchased from Godfreys, who insisted this brand was better than Dyson. I purchased and not long afterwards, all the clips, attachments, buttons broke. The cylinder which holds the dust and dirt no longer closes, to its now taped together. Unable to get a refund as it had just reached it's warranty. Wasn't overused, I wasn't rough with my… Read more

assembling and disassembling, the motor is ok, but the materials that hold it together are cheap Chinese rubbish. DO NOT BUY.

Love this product – Best stick vac ever . One push of a button to empty . It detects how dirty your floor is and increases or decreases the suction accordingly to save battery time . Great suction .

Game changer – Love love love, easy to use & clean. I love the light on the vacuum head so you can see all the fine dust you need to pick up. Works great on hard floors and foam rugs. All the different heads it comes with makes cleaning a breeze Show details

Excellent and versatile with long run time, even does pet hair! – We needed to replace our old stick vacuum and did a lot of research. We settled on the Tineco Pure One X as a good balance of price and features we needed. It's really quiet for how powerful it is and the turbo button is great for pet hair and also couches, etc. On regular setting, we get around 45 - 50 mins of use, which is enough for a quick… Read more

freshen up of our 2 storey home (it's awesome on the stairs)! It's also really easy to empty and clean and has a second filter that you can vacuum clean in its own little canister! Really happy with our purchase.

Love it – I wanted an easy to use, quiet and easy to empty stick vac at a respectable price point. This is great. I just did the house, full of bc dog hair and it isn’t now. Great attachments and not as flimsy as a 100$ one. I really hope this lasts. I love the choice of hold button to use or not, the auto sensor for a bigger pile of dirt and lasted longer… Read more

on charge than expected and charges in a couple of hours. I’m sure $1000 vacs might be better but I am a happy user of the product

Excellent supporting vacuum – Autosensing vacuum intensity, self cleaning filtering system, HEPA filter. Fairly quite, good run time. Loads of accessories and fairly tidy mounting kit.have used it to clean the interiors of my cars and very kid/dog friendly couch. Compliments my robovac nicely and would be idea for as a single vacuum cleaner for a small unit or appartment. Show details

Overhyped. Glorified Vacuum Sweeper – In spite of reading PR reviews, we were swayed by a smart salesperson, a choreographed shop demo, and an article in the NY Times. As if on cue, the Tineco started showing red lights every time we used it after the 30-day return period. Switch on, move it a centimetre, and the red light comes on. Then it goes off, then it comes on, then off, quite… Read more

entertaining if not for the behaviour of the machine: suction good, suction bad, no suction, good, none, bad, good. This is a temperamental sweeper.

So, off to customer service, with photos and videos; it's normal behaviour. Nothing to worry about. This is the advanced iLoop electronic logic: red = dust detected, blue: dust removed. So, red/blue/red/blue/red.. forever, every single time you use the machine. If this is 'normal' it's the worst industrial design I have seen in 60 years. To me, red means trouble with the machine. Do not show me red, unless there is a fault in the machine. If you find dust, show me orange, purple, violet, anything but red. If it must be red, give me the option to switch the light off, for good, forever.

With iLoop, be careful what you wish for.

So, what about suction power? Fantastic (1 month after purchase). Until your shoulders start to ache after 5-10 minutes of cleaning. You have to push the Tineco so hard just to move it across the carpet. This machine is built for the Schwarzeneggers of the world, not me. If you accidentally push the MAX power, the machine may not move at all. Who uses the MAX setting, and why?

The noise? You will need to ask my neighbours. But iLoop makes even the noise entertaining: Loud, soft, LOUD, whisper,.. I love technology.

Battery life? I downloaded the app, where you can check battery and filters. Charged fully, after 5 minutes, I lost 2 bars of the initial 5. On Auto. Maybe it's the red/blue/red/blue Xmas lights.

I had a Hoover Ultra Light for 8 years. Never had any problems whatsoever, rarely see a red light, but they do not make them anymore. Too reliable! I put the Tineco away for the time being, and returned to using my trusted Hoover. I'll re-visit the Tineco if the Hoover dies on me one day. Or maybe not.

This Vac doesn’t with the price – Quite simple and comfortable to use, has comfortable option . But Has no suction power. To clean the house I have to use the turbo mode at all times and it’s drains the battery so doesn’t really made it for me Show details

Overpriced garbage – This is no better than some anko stick vacuum from kmart, except you get the privilege of paying 500 bucks for it. Sure it's great when you first use it... that's true for every vacuum. But 6 months down the line after a few clean outs it becomes weak as piss and basically a glorified noise maker. Unless you enjoy rollers spitting the dirt out the… Read more

back and having to chase around even the tiniest bit of dust, do yourself a favour and just buy a shop vac. Yeah it's bulkier but at least you'll have confidence that it'll suck up everything in its path. Because you know, that's what a vacuum should do.

Very disappointed in the suction – Have had this about 6 months and very sorry we didn't go with a Dyson. Unless it's on turbo it has about the same suction of a dust buster. Not value for money. Show details

No complaints! – Following the demise of my Dyson, I could not warrant a like replacement owing to the cost as there were a number of cheaper, good ,alternatives available. I eventually decided on the Tineco Pure One X and have certainly not been disappointed in the nine months since purchase. The battery life allows complete cleaning without recharge. Suction is as good as my previous unit and has not diminished since new. Very easy to use and maintain. Show details

Started off ok, but 4 months down the track its rubbish – When we first got it I noted that for it to be powerful enough on carpet I would have to use the turbo mode, I was annoyed but I could live with it since it did well on our floor boards. Over time though the suction has decreased and it needs to be on turbo just to pick up all the dog fur from our floor boards. Really disappointed. We weren't… Read more

convinced it was doing more then clean the obvious stuff on the carpets so we got the old Dyson V6 back out and it was full within minutes! This vacuum has the looks and the features but not the suction, the suction seems to diminish with time even when following the maintenance instructions in the book. Better off sticking to a better known brand. I'd love to return it for a refund but at this point Godfrey's will only take it back for a warranty repair, I don't think technically there is anything wrong with it, it's just weak.

Great quality stick vacuum – I've had a few stick vacs over the years. My Vax Blade died again (after a second warranty repair) so I gave up on it. I was recommended Tineco by a relative who has a fancier version. We've had it for a few weeks now and it's great quality and easy to use (much easier to detach and attach the accessories than the Vax Blade ever was). We have hard… Read more

floors with dogs, so it does a great job of a quick daily tidy up, and the accessories make it easy to use in the car too. Plenty of battery life and it's quiet to use. I also like that the "bumper edge" on the vacuum is white, so it doesn't leave black drag marks on my skirting board like other brands have. Would thoroughly recommend this unit.
