Taste stale – I used to love this bread, however something has changed, it taste stale now. It used to feel so fresh even after 3 or 4 days. Going to have to change brands to something that taste fresher and softer on the day its purchased. Still taste great for toast though. Show details
Is TIP TOP bread now frozen as it taste stale – This bread now feels and taste stale the moment of sale. It taste as if it been frozen and thawed out at the supermarkets. It use to be fresh. Something has changed in either production or distribution and i find it difficult to get any answer from Tip Top or supermarkets. Show details
Always squashed – Every loaf I buy has misshapen slices that are squashed out of shape. Impossible to use in a jaffle iron. Will not be buying anymore.
Been buying 9 grains since it first came on the market - but no more – I am extremely disappointed that the baked on date is no longer shown on the packet, and am sick of buying a supposedly fresh loaf of bread, rushing home to have a slice, only to find, that despite the Best by date being quite a way off, the bread is not fresh and tastes about a week old. This has happened on more than a few occasions and from different stores. I am now buying fresh baked loaves from bakeries. Show details
Slice looks like a starfish – My wife mistakenly purchased this product . For years we have stayed away from Tip top bread ever since we found a pencil sliced within the slices. My wife bought this because Helgas had run out. She had forgotten about the pencil. So first time back after many years they still can't get it right. The slice looks like a starfish with an area as big as a 50c piece to put the fillings
PUMPKIN SEEDS! – Your pumpkin seed bread is the best I've ever eaten. I can actually see and taste the seeds! Keep it up
Excellent – excellent bread which keeps you regular. even better toasted and eaten just with butter. my favourite is the pumpkin seed, followed by the original. it also comes in the muffin version. since the original vogel bread disappeared, i have been looking for a decent substitute. i finally came across this and haven't looked back. keeps you fuller for… Read more
longer, stays soft even after a few days and now comes in a mini loaf which i have been longing for, for ages. now i can get fresh bread every few days rather than buying a huge loaf and having to freeze it. tastes great, good for you
Good – I've been a fan of this bread for quite a while. I used to buy Kelly's I think it was Kibble n Rye but this bread now has even more grains in it than that other old bread did. It is an excellent source of dietary fibre and a much healthier option than eating plain old white bread. This type of bread doesn't suit everyone's tastes but I love it… Read more
and its the only type of bread you will find in my house. If you come here and don't like it then too bad you'll have to bring your own. Very healthy bread. With all the seeds in it some of them will pass through your body undigested without thorough chewing.
