I used to regularly purchase Tip Top Spicy Fruit English Muffins but haven’t done so for over a year. I’m not sure what is going on but I have noticed that they seem to have a lot less sultanas in them now. Maybe it’s because it’s Easter time and all the sultanas were used in hot cross buns. I still don’t mind these English muffins but I do look forward to finding a sultana in every bite for a little flavour to what would be a very boring feed without it.

One thing I do like is the best before date is printed in black in on a blue tag. This makes it easy to read. A lot of other baking companies have white print on tan tags and they are impossible to read.

Also I don’t understand why I have to cut the muffin down the middle so I can fit it in the toaster. I have enough to do as it is. I get crumbs all over the table and I end up with crumbs built up at the bottom of my toaster. I have to press down firmly on the crumbling cut side of the muffin to avoid this. How hard would it be to employ a muffin splitter in the factory?

All in all, I don’t mind eating Tip Top Spicy Fruit English Muffins, but because of the quantity of sultanas Im only giving three stars.
