Beautiful Cold Brew Coffee – Easy setup to use, makes delicious cold brew if you use quality beans. Takes a little time to clean but all in all an excellent setup for home cold brews.

Purchased in at Kogan.com for $75.

Simple but very effective – Bought the Toddy Cold Brew from Five Senses Coffee as it was cheapest and fastest delivery in Western Australia. We been using the same system at work for over 8 months now. The rubber stopper still in good condition and better yet we still used the original two filters. The cold brew system is very easy to use and instruction can be seen via YouTube or downloaded from Toddy main website. The brew system worked well for both tea and coffee.

One can experiment with varying the gram to water ratio. We also tried freshly roasted coffee beans from the Swan Valley as well as Coles Harris brand. Regardless the final product is much stronger with less bitter then original hot coffee.

Personally the grind size, water quality (Bottle vs tap) and the time spent in the fridge play an important part in the final taste. I prefered 30 hrs brew time. The more coarse the grind size the lesser chance of clogging the filter and hence prolong it’s life. We averaged 3 brew per month.

So far I experienced no leak with the system. Basically make sure you pushed the rubber stopper up and then twist. The handle can be a bit annoying, so don’t use it.

Washing the cold brew system is easy. I normally dumped the used coffee into my garden and give it a quick rinsed.

The filter I stored in ziplock bag and in the freezer. Overall for $60, and one get decent home brew coffee that can last up to a week or two.
