I purchased this new welder to replace the Uni MiG 130. It is not a fair comparision as the UniMig was a lot older, smaller, cheaper and was running gas less. So for me, this new welder is fantastic. The only problem is now, that I can't blame the welder for crappy welds :-). I also liked that it came with the TiG tourch and ARC hand piece in the kit. I added the Ally welding kit, but have not used that yet. For handyman use, and wanting machine that is very flexible, I think this is a great welder.

I purchased this machine as an upgrade to my MIG135 which I got around 5 years ago also from Tokentools Welding Equipment and Supplies. This is a huge upgrade as the power output is immense. It poops on my old Unimig procraft 240 that I had in the late 90's. Being an inverter welder it has pure DC out and works well with silicone bronze wires. I also got the spool gun kit and weld ally with that. With wire loaded it does top 30 kilos but the carry strap is handy.
