Also a bad experience – The same as the other users I found that unless it's on the lowest setting it just saturates the floor around it. The mist just travels straight down, so I don't think it does anything anyway. so uses I switched it off one night because of the noise. It sat there full for a few days, when I went to move it I picked it up straight and steady and water ran out from the vents underneath. And when I tip it to the side from around the powercord! There is water inside the electricals! Imagine it I just turned it back on! Don't waste your money on this useless dangerous piece of rubbish.

Exactly what others are saying – I have experienced exactly what everyone else has said! Soaking wet walls and floors after every use. And then after about 10 months it randomly stopped working. Can see it bubbling in the tube but no mist escapes from the top. Terrible purchase. Would definitely not recommend to anyone! :-(

broken after 8 or so used, no replacement or repair – This was purchased for $100 as i wanted one that would last. You just have it on the lowest setting and door cracked open to prevent wet carpets although the lowest setting is still very misty. Now it just wont work. Ive cleaned lime scale, taken good care and as its outside 1 year warranty they wont fix or replace parts. Big waste of $. 8 or so uses and careful storage. Dont waste your money.

Expensive and Useless – I bought this in 2013 and it was one of the more expensive ones on the market. Used it a handful of times since then and it is now broken. The only way I have worked out for it not to do this is to have it on a very low setting or to turn it off half way through the night. I have tried also descaling it and still doesn't work. Very disappointed expensive product and should last more than 8 uses! I've written to the company and no reply. Will be chasing it up.

If you are looking for a wet floor buy this! – It's great in the sense that it's cool mist means no burning hazard for kids and good to relieve coughs. Not very impressed – It worked well the first few times but after a few weeks rest, started giving trouble. At times it would not release the mist but I could see bubbling in the clear tube, at other times the mist was escaping from the base, not from the top as it is supposed to . It also leaves a large area of the carpet wet (not from leaking but from the mist) quiet, stylish expensive, not worth the cost

Excellent purchase – I purchased this humidifier when my daughter was ill with the flu. We have a vicks vaporiser which works ok but with a toddler and a temperature it just makes the room SO hot that she was waking up so sweaty from it. This one is a cool mist and has been fantastic. daughter doesn't wake at all when sick now where as previously would wake complaining she couldn't breathe. Definitely worth the money in my opinion! Will be buying a second for my son aswell.

does make carpet moist but easily solved by placing towels down and is better than the alternative of everything getting wet with a vaporiser.

Would not recommend this at all – I have had a very similar experience to the other reviewer (Lozza). I bought this product last winter (2013) after deciding to try a humidifier once our traditional vapouriser with hot steam died. couple of occasions. I wasn't overly impressed by these issues but it did help with my daughter's coughs and colds so we persisted with it when needed throughout winter.

I then went to use it recently as my daughter had croup and it's broken - it doesn't work at all. The product was more expensive than other vapourisers I would expect it to last more than one winter with intermitent use.

I will not be buying another one and would not recommend it given our experience. Helps with coughs and colds Expensive and stopped working after very little use

Terrible – This product is terrible. I purchased it after a bad experience with the Vicks Vaporizer, which ruined the wall paper on baby's bedroom wall. I read about the humidifier releasing a cool mist which sounded perfect for my baby's bedroom; however it left my baby's bedroom carpet soaking wet. I would not recommend this product to anyone.
