Would not purchase from this company, they advertised Chain and Bar for $16.99 I only received the chain, sent it back the following day, that was ten days ago still waiting for refund, they are deceptive and misleading in their advertising,I am thinking of lodging a complaint with the ACCC.

I have delt with Toolstorm twice in the past year. I found their service to be very professional and great products. My last experience with them I had a small issue and again there great service put it right. Thank you. Larry J Turner

A No Apology Lucky Dip shopping experience – I was happy with my first order. The second time I ordered my order was short shipped three chains, a large part of the order so needless to say I complained on receipt of the short order. To be clear Toolstorm have now as of today replaced the missing Chains but it meant the order took twice as long to complete as there was no effort to replace… Read more

the missing items by express post nor did I get an apology. Like I always say it's only when there is a problem you get to see the true colors of a company by the way they treat a complaint. In my case I was made to feel like I put them out for telling them they ripped me off. 3 Chains for the price of six Chains was never going to be OK. While my orders are finally complete and the quality of the items appears good I will never regain the time or confidence lost in this store. Too much like the Lucky Dip shopping experience offered by E-bay.

I'm disappointed in the replacement line trimmer feeder it's to hard to open up to get to replace the line – You need to change the design as it was a problem with the original unit

Passing the buck – Received item but pieces missing. Put in complaint to my deal but toolstorm keep insisting it’s not their product. Don’t deal with them, expected better from a company residing in Australia. The attachment bits in the middle are missing

Wait until you can afford better quality – Arrived with plastic bottom deflector plate already showing "white" impact marks in the plastic, suggesting the plastic is low quality/brittle and likely will not wear well. All plastic handles and components appear to be the minimum in… Read more

construction. Motor did start fairly easily, but the 40cc engine did not appear to have very much torque (not as powerful as my Honda 25cc 4 stroke line cutter anyway), as it appeared to bog down cutting very small patches of grass. That line trimmer head also looks to be not very durable and the plastic is pretty rough, with the "press" tabs almost impossible to depress simultaneously to release the line. (Poor design.) The line trimmer head, cannot be opened despite pressing both the "press" tabs that should release the spool. Received the chainsaw bar and chain, but no oiler bottle or attachments. Package included 6 different solid cutting wheels, which this item probably won't go the distance using. If they spent a little more attention to detail and quality, they probably wouldn't have to throw in as many useless items to make the sale attractive. I wasn't expecting much, and only bought the item to clean up a house I am vacating. Will be looking to cut my losses and offload this item ASAP.

Rubbish product! – Rubbish product! Motor (40cc four-stroke) starts easily but cuts out when lifted or tilted. The whipper-snipper won't hold the line and continually throws it out. Instructions say to only hand-tighten but this doesn't keep the line in place. Tried the line supplied and several others, all with the same result!

Got there in the end – Bought a 210mm Toolstorm Mitre saw $159 from Toolstorm via ebay. It worked pretty good. After less than a week - dead. It had only had very light use. It wasn't hot, there was no smell, it had just stopped working. Messaged them via ebay. After a few messages back and forth over the next two weeks a replacement has finally arrived. working very well. I don't have a problem with the product. For the price it's great. It cuts clean and straight, has stand, a laser guide, and looks well made. I've just had a bit of bad luck. The main issue is their customer service. Expect a few days for them to respond to messages. I'm hoping the replacement lasts a lot longer than the original.

Awesome waste of time – I ordered and paid for an eBay item after confirming that pick up was available. They responded yes with their address and their hours of operation between 9am and 1pm. At 9.37am I responded with "I'll be there before 12pm." Arrived at 11.56am only to find the place all locked up. Messaged them via eBay, waited for an hour, no reply or anyone… Read more

surfacing from the warehouse.

I wasted 40 minutes driving here, sat and waited for an hour, now driving 40 minutes home empty handed and most likely I'll have an annoyed client. 2 hours and 20 minutes of my day wasted seemingly for their entertainment.

No contact phone number, only an email address that is ignored.

As I was driving away they replied to my eBay account saying "sorry, we close early today".

The epitome of pathetic.

So far so good – I will be honest; the instructions are pretty bad and you tube not very helpful but it does the work!

eBay order – I ordered grass trimmer blades via eBay. I never received the product. Toolstorm gave NO help recovery the product and gave NO refund. They went to eBay only after I threatened to do so myself. I would not recommend to anyone to purchase from this company. Extremely disappointed.

You get cheap if it is Cheap – Toolstorm a cheaper product option. Sells engineered tools for handyman level home use. There is no product that is genuine high quality engineering. It is cheap but not for trades.

None existent customer service – Following an order I placed through Catch (supplier for Toolstorm) for a brushcutter at 9.15 am this morning I was then forced to cancel which I did through Catch at 9.30 am. Catch emailed the supplier immediately requesting a refund, this request was ignored by Toolstorm and I received an email at 12.30 advising me the order had been shipped.… Read more

Catch then sent a follow up email explaining the situation, again ignored. The order cost a considerable amount of money, very disappointing to be ignored and the order (perhaps) deliberately posted. Would certainly not recommend doing business with this company also operating on Ebay having such bad communication.
