Complicated instructions – Purchased a set of Tridon Complete Wipers which were accompanied by 2 pages of complicated, unclear instructions. Compromised because a generic fitting is trying to accommodate too many types of cars. Fittings left over, so could be more economical and less landfill. Bosch wipers much cheaper. Not sure how long they will last - not long according to others experiences.

Dont Trust These Wiper Blades – I purchased a set of Tridon Wiper Flexblades from Supercheap on the 11 November 2023. After a month of being on the vehicle, the first lot of heavy rain 12 December 2023 due to Weather Squalls coming from cyclone Jasper about 650km away, I was driving in a 60km zone in Townsville and had just gone through a round-about and was driving at about… Read more

50km/hr and I had the wipers clearing the rain from the windscreen because it was quite heavy. Suddenly the passenger side Flexblade wiper rolled underneath the wiper arm and somehow came off the wiper arm hook, and the wiper arm slammed down onto the windscreen and the Tridon Flexblade wiper flew off the car onto the ground behind me. When the Flexblade wiper came off the wiper arm the arm slammed that hard onto the windscreen I thought forsure that the windscreen would have been cracked. Fortunately it didnt not damage the windscreen apart from a few scratches from the now Bladeless wiper arm.

The Tridon Flexblades DO NOT have double locking to prevent the blade from accidental disconnecting.

I drove around the block to pickup the wiper blade and refitted it, so that I could continue driving while it was raining heavily.

I could no longer trust that these blades would not come off on their own, especially at highway speeds in the rain. I returned to Supercheap and I purchased a full set of Bosch Aerotwin Wiper Blades which have a dual locking mechanism to prevent such unintended removal of the wiper blades while travelling.

Supercheap however, would not accept the Tridon FlexBlades back for refund or replacement, but where happily to blame the customer, and would accept them back for no payment so they could sell them to someone else. I refused to give allow them to do this and I have discarded them into the recycle bin because it could have happened to someone else and caused a fatality while driving in heavy rain.

Long lasting but non serviceable and expensive – I get 4 years from a set of these, if you buy cheap ones yearly, you will come out ahead with these blades, just. It infuriates me that they're not serviceable with replacement rubbers. Such a throwaway world we live in. They even pullapart easy to change the rubber out, but I guess that's not what makes the money for Tridon. At the end of the… Read more

day, if you're replacing your wiper blades each season with units that cost $30 a pair, you can save a little money and another of time with these, just set and forget.

Rip Off – These maybe be claimed to be quality blades but the sales person should inform you before they install the blades onto your car not after. Had I known, I would have asked for cheaper ones. Show details

Rip off – These are a dead set RIP off. Cannot believe it costs $80 to replace both wipers. I'll definitely be looking around for a cheaper option next time they need replacing.

Buyer beware – Be aware. $40 gets you only ONE blade. Had I realized I would have steered clear. This is stated in small text on the side of the box so that's on me. I wonder how much repeat business Tridon get after someone begrudgingly buys a second one after being duped? Never again. Show details

Cannot refill Tridon FlexBlades – @ $40 each side, and NON refillable, these are a seriously bad buy. The bosch flex/beam blades can be refilled with rubber refills like the old days, for cheap. i get the Bosch refills off eBay, when i MUST get flexblades. Show details

Best blades! – Can’t believe I hadn’t found these sooner - tad pricey but well worth it. Has a smooth squeak free wipe, amazing on those bucketing rainy drives, must have safety device. Easy to install, and aesthetically pleasing. Seems to press into the glass better resulting in a nice bug free cleaning.

Measurements don't match up to actual car! – Average quality and measurements don't match up to the size of the windscreen so there's a "dirty gap" when wiping. Nor sure if it was just a bad batch or a Super Cheap Auto issue with their car measurements book for wipers. Either way, their expensive and don't look good.

Easy to install, work well, but expensive throw aways! – i have been using these windscreen wiper blade replacements on my vehicles for the last 5 years. They are dead simple to install, are easy to keep clean, have less exposed components to get caught on things, and in my experience work well when new. The claim that they will last longer, in some cases I have been told about twice as long as… Read more ·  1

"normal" wiper blades is nonsense in my experience. I have found them good for 12 to18 months but then they deteriorate as any blade does. It annoys me that Tridon do not make a replacement rubber available even though the rubber can be easily removed and replaced, and you are expected to throw away the complete unit. I have contacted Tridon via email asking them to consider this option but have not had a reply to date. At $35 to $40 each they are obviously making a good profit. I believe we consumers, not to mention the environment, are being "ripped off here!

I have replaced the rubbers myself with various less expensive single rubber inserts with varying success.
