Perhaps i have done something wrong but the worms must have either died or gone deeper into the ground. Either way, they are not eating the vegetable scraps provided. What am i doing wrong?

Hello Loca first of all how long have you had your worm farm for? If it is under 6 months they may be still getting used to the environment around the worm farm and the reason they aren’t eating your veggie scraps may be because they are eating your worm farm bedding or blankets

Hi Moh Thanks for your reply No. It has been 8 months and no go yet. Will wait for longer. Maybe spring will bring them out

How much kitchen waste (peelings etc) does the worm farm process a week?

If the kitchen scraps are cut very finely or put through the food processor you will find that the worms will consume a lot more than if they are put in whole. I would be able to put through about 3 or 4 cups of scraps after they have been through the food processor, but of course it depends on how many worms you have.
