Limited life span – On my 2nd uniden igo cam 50r over 4yrs. Both units lasted pretty much 2yrs each, (sd cards replaced every 12 months, verbatim 32gb). Both units turn on with car, turn off within seconds showing low battery and power back on showing charging.....then powered off within seconds and then repeats that procwss non stop. Cannot reset or even power off and on manually. Cannot fault the product during the 2yrs that yhey worked.

After speaking with customer service supervisor at thier request, all hope of a resolution that didn't cost me anything, failed. No apology about the product failings only an apology that I went through this twice. The supervisor also claimed not to have received my complaint email sent to an Australian based customer service centre because she doesn't work in that centre?! They offered to email me a link to an update to see if that would work, apart from that it would cost me postage plus $90 to have it looked at. Oh well worth a try.
Value as a super easy entry level for as simply install and go – Probably the most decent entry product on the market. Not much wiring to do, like other products. It simply comes with whatever you need, with a decent 3M tape. For the rear dash, the cable did snap as i didnt put it through my lining as i didnt have the tool to run the cable through. Micro SD card wasnt include as i suggest you to also get with it.
