Rubbish – Just like burning money bought 750 screen freezes. Took it back and they replaced it with newer model 755 from 2nd day kept saying card full but nothing was on it wouldn't loop record and now freezers no retailer should sell them and uniden should refund regardless of age of unit or lack of receipt.

Rubbish – I have a Uniden IGO 750 dash cam, regardless of how many times I clean the glass, it keeps falling off the windscreen. I have used alcohol, methelated spirits, everything to no avail. My daughter tossed hers and my one is next. Put a Polaris in my wife's car and it hasn't moved from it's initial installation. Looks like the way to go. Have had many Uniden products in the past but no more, it's a shame because they used to have good products.

Didn't Last Long – Given the unit as my dad never used it. Plugged in and within 15 min the unit had totally stopped working. Even depressing the reset button has done nothing. Also the unit appears to be quite hot. I have tried everything known to get it working again to no avail. Not very happy at all.

Never worked – I got the Uniden IGo Cam 7 for my fathers day present. Red light flashes with the screen operating. After a short time the screen goes blank and the 4 red flashing light stops. Tried everything possible. Threw it into the back of the cupboard never to be used again. Very unhappy with this product.

Same problems as all are having – My iGO750 has same problems as others posting here. Unit says unknown format, requesting format disc. Now won't turn on - dead!! A smell of bakalite burning after plugging into computer. Only 6 months old and is a crap unit. I do plenty of driving so need a dash cam.

Very disappointing – Suction Cup ended up having to be glued to windscreen despite cleaning with metho white spirits and special glass cleaners. A IGO CAM Player CD did not come in the box. Unable to successfully access IGO Player from Uniden site. The unit does not appear to loop record and fills a 32GB Class 10 MicroSD card then beeps away that the card is full. … Read more

I have been a bit of a Uniden fan with other products but find the IGOCAM750 a real challenge that I have persisted with but find it not fit for purpose.

Not very good – Bought iGo cam 750 through magazine subscription. Took 1st one to Uniden with system error + Micro SD card could not access. This was replaced with new one. Having render errors + could not access SD Card. This was replaced with another one but having render error and shutting down. So I've had 3 new units from Uniden, all with problems.

No Good – Unit worked for a month. Went west and unit crashed. Appears unit does not like rough roads. Now can not get unit to work or download recordings. It is just dead. Reset button does not help. This unit was giving a good picture but dirt roads it does not like.

Not good – Posted before. But the page seemed to delete it. Ours failed after 2 weeks in our truck. After 3 weeks of calls and emails Uniden replaced it. But replacement mount failed again. It cannot handle hard vibrations trucks in Australia make. We have a new camera now running for the last month that is the best unit we have ever had. Review to come.

Top Unit – I found this unit dead easy to use, and was stoked with the picture quality. Easy to install, and doesn't take up much room at all on the dash. Good value IMHO.

Very poor unit – I bought this two weeks ago after getting a refund on my previous crash cam, a Navman MiVue 388, (see my report on that little disaster elsewhere on this site). The mounting bracket is the hardest to use I have ever experienced and will not last long as it is so hard to remove the unit. The included cd to download the program doesn't work. It… Read more

says if it doesn't work, download from the Uniden site but guess what, it's not there so I had to email them to send me the link, which is hopeless because it takes hours to actually work it all out and save it to your pc..

If you need to use the GPS 'facility' don't expect it to be accurate, mine records the vehicle position at least one kilometre from where the vehicle is????

The advertising gives the impression that the GPS co-ordinates are recorded on the screen with the pics but not so, if you need to send that info to insurers or the police, you have to try to work out how to send the info on a separate data file. Too much hassle for me.

The recorded voice is very noisy and the unit is going to be replaced for that as well as the inaccurate GPS.

After my experience with this as well as the Navman, I don't have any confidence that any of the dash cams are any good, it's almost as if they rushed them onto the market and will sort all the issues out as the complaints come in. I certainly won't ever buy another, of any brand.

Update 10th November 2014:

I finally returned the above cam for a new replacement unit, which was offered by Uniden.

However, after receiving the 'new' replacement, I reckon it is either my original sent back or is one that was returned by some other unfortunate buyer because almost all the problems that were in my original; are still in this one???

In addition, the suction cap base is so old and worn that it doesn't stay stuck to the windscreen and as my original was only a couple of weeks old before it was returned, I reckon this one is definitely NOT a new one.

The GPS still tracks around 800-900 meters from where the vehicle actually is which makes it all but useless for police or insurance purposes. After my previous issues with both the iGo 750 from Uniden and the Navman MiVue 388 which I reported earlier I am finished with crash cameras for at least a couple of years to allow them to get their act together and produce reliable cameras that actually do as they are advertised they will.

Also, for a company as big as Uniden to promise to supply a NEW replacement and then send back an old banger with the same problems shows that they are either dishonest, incompetent or their cameras simply don't work but whichever it is, my recommendation is. stay well clear.
