Good welder all round, – Good welder all round, only issue found was that it chewed through gas with the non adjustable post gas flow, so contacted Unimig support, suggested removing a Diode from circuit board, problem solved, plenty of grunt for a single phase Mig, pity it is discontinued.

Purchased in at Nubco Devonport.

Uni- Mig 250 Mig / Mma / Tig Inverter KUMJR250-SG – While l reviewed this welder when l first purchased it and was disappointed it didn't have the big 15amp plug with the machine and it took me a week to wait for an election to get and install....... While now l have had this welder August 2016 and l have been extremely happly with the way the weler has preformed. It doesnt have the hand piece burn back that my old mig welder had, in one full 15kg roll of mig wire never even replaced the welding tip.

This is one of the best welder that l have ever used for reliablaty and easy use.

Well done to Uni- Mig and l would recommend this 250 / 15amp welder for workshop or home handyman

Good But Not Perfect – I would like to be able to switch off the VRD in some situations. The manual is not very good but overall the welder is good. Covers all my welding need at job site No way to switch off VRD.

Best Mig I've Owned – Does everthing I need to do. Never tried gassless though. Comes without a plug. Takes 15kg wire coil. Great trolley with space for a gass bottle. Well laid out control panel and a sturdy cabinet. Decent torch comes with it. Digital display is a bonus, being easy to see. Good price. Easy to use. No plug. Had to get a 32amp plug for it and run off 6mm cable. Instruction booklet could be better.

Luckily dealer put a plug on mine at no expense.... Is there any guideline for amp to wire feed as instructions have nothing

I downloaded the Miller Welding app onto my iphone. Gives you all the settings for volts/amps/metal thickness for mig/tig and stick welding.
