Bucket of crap. Been back to Unimig 2 times and they say there is nothing wrong. Cuts out when you arc the wire, need to turn off and reset. Then same thing happens. Nothing but problems from day 1, other brands must be better Show details

Top little welder for DIY projects – Tried the welder out for the first time today in the MIG gasless setting .8 wire. Very pleased with the result. So easy to set up and use. Really good welds for such a small welder. Ideal for DIY projects. Show details

Top machine – Great little light weight welder, mig, tig, mma, comes with mig gun and mma stick holder, all though no tig torch, used it today with mig gun and gasless set up, it worked so good I was impressed. I'm a welder with 40 years experience, and for home use and little jobs around the place you don't need anything else, from 1mm to about 5 mm this inverter machine is very useful. Show details

Unboxing and testing my new welder – This welder is a great little tool to have in my arsenal, I’ve only used the gasless MIG and so far and it’s been a dream, I can’t wait to start working on bigger projects and really see what it’s capabilities are :-) Show details ·  1

UNIMIG Viper 135 Multi-Process Welder (Kit) – This brand welder has a lot of info supplied about "how to use" on Youtube etc for starters, which is one of the reasons I selected it - additionally, reviews "plus" are always a good start before a purchase. As a home user and car repairer I found this particular welder had met my needs as for odd jobs etc. It's not designed as a heavy industry… Read more ·  1

machine, but it meets all the needs one would expect and appreciate from a 240v 10amp (AU) welder. If your lucky enough to get hold of the UNIMIG PK11081 Viper 135 Multi-Process Welder (Kit) you'll save a buck or 2! Included: Gloves (conventional gloves in the past were very stiff and rigid these are very soft and comfortable and come half way up your arm) - which keeps the UV etc burns at bay. The Helmet is very universal & artistic with a range of adjustments, including a spare set of front and rear lenses and a well designed protective carry bag, it also includes a Low Battery Indicator and a Grind Mode Indicator light plus adjustable Sensitivity Dial (Low to High) Delay Dial (Fast to Slow) Shade Selector Knob and a Grind Mode Button to turn the shade off/on for using an angle grinder etc. Note: to activate this you need to remove the clear plastic tab on the upper right of the display to engage power from the battery - this is also where the battery is stored if replacing. The Plastic Supplies Box is well made and sturdy enough the carry anywhere with an number of spare parts available including a nifty set of square end pliers, surprisingly, I also found an extra pair of brass tips plus a set of 6/8mm V groove wire feed rollers supplied when I opened the box (apart from the F groove already fitted "Handy" for using with different gauge wire etc) You'll also get a 1Kg Roll (yes - 1Kg) of 0.8mm Gasless Wire (a little care is needed when fitting this to the feed spool as it will act like a spring uncoiling when you first open it). Synergic (IGBT ) MIG control is also very handy for taking the guess work out of "most" of your jobs when used correctly. you also have the option of either using Argon or Air (from a compressor) for weld jobs to ALL these settings, examples and methods are clearly displayed in the User Manual. Earth and Stick Weld Handle are supplied as well. NOT SUPPLIED is the TIG Torch cable etc or Air/Gas line for obvious reasons to keep overall cost down and not everyone prefers TIG over MIG or MMA although, these are available from UNIMIG if necessary. OVERALL OPINION = Very well priced, The Box supplies ALL you need to get started straight away - all you need is a power point. Well designed, no imperfections or noticeable flaws or faults in production, solid design, compact , light/ portable with shoulder carry strap supplied, LED display and adjustment controls clearly marked and displayed with a 2 Years Warranty.

Great welder for my skills – I have had the 175 for a few years now for private or home use. I have done plenty of small jobs and what I call larger ones. My welding skills are average not professional but the welder works great and I have completed these jobs satisfactorily all strong and no failures. MIG only used as I also have a seperate stick welder. I am very happy… Read more ·  1

with the product and support from Unimig. The next projects are building a camper trailer which I have half done and awnings on my man cave shed. Very happy.
