I Love this pram, a shame Valco has discontinued it – I managed to find a store online in Jan 2016 that still had one in stock, sadly I could only get red, but took it as I wanted this pram desperately. It is my second pram as my first was a reverse handle Steelcraft which was perfect for my newborn laying flat but I kicked the wheels when I walked the dog & took large strides. The Rebel Q however… Read more

has a fantastic extending handle, 3 heights, and large rear wheels and a decent width apart. My bub, now 16months old loves being in this pram and is even asleep in it reclined as I type this. Large storage basket, lightweight to lift but I found it felt more stable and easier to steer and push than heavier steelcraft striders. I've fitted into a very fully packed car boot as it's so simple to detach the seat. Foam wheels are great as we pick up stones as there is a lot of new house building going on near us and we also walk in the country with bubs too.

If I have another baby I think I will just buy the bassinet attachment as I don't like the seat for a newborn even though it reclines and says it is for a newborn I don't think it is flat enough. I also think babies in reclined seats look cramped as the seat still has the 90 degree angle at the base of the seat and backrest. Luckily the bassinet is still available as it fits other Valco Prams.

The sport has the mesh on the hood, yes it's nice for airflow but not great in winter, it needs to have an solid all over cover over it that can be zipped open & closed, not just the 3/4 flap that it has. But it is ok with an older child. I prefer the seat of the sport to the standard Rebel Q as the seat locks in place and can't be just pushed or pulled more upright, my bub has strength and could pull herself forward when strapped in & move the seat position in my first pram.

I will keep this pram as long as my bub or future bubs fit in it. Worth the price I paid at $600.

I think if Valco brought this pram back with a few modifications and other colour choices it will sell well. Frame is silver too which I like, the black looks heavier to me.

If it had a good option for second seat it may sell better too, but age gap if I chose to have another baby now would mean I could get a skateboard thing and have my first child sit/stand between me and the pram so it's not a huge issue for me.

I use this every day to walk the dog and it goes in & out from the car & to the shops & it has not given me one complaint yet. I love it! Just wish it wasn't red. A teal would have been really nice.

Fairly good but a frw things to think about before you buy – This review is in respect of using this pram for a newborn, my bub is now 3 months old. I will attempt to write one in about a year once we have experienced the seat further. Bad Points Firstly, with mine being a winter bub, part of the hood is mesh and whilst this will be great for summer, this is really not the best for winter, I have… Read more

fashionably draped a wrap around it and secured with alligator clips. It would be more ideal if there was some way to secure this mesh from the inside without impacting the range of the hood.

Secondly, the footmuff/ closure is secured with a stud. Which on the surface is fine but your fingers have to be so strong not to mention the force you need to apply to get the thing on and off. It will wake your baby up!! I dont have weak hands and have found this hasnt really improved wih use.

Most importantly, i bought this pram as it is supposed to be suitable for a newborn, but the seat does not lie completely flat (fine if you have a colicy baby but mine finds the seat uncomfortable to sleep in, plus you are going to need a headhugger). Its almost another $200 for the bassinet and i would have probably looked elsewhere had I known I would have needed this.

Also importantly, suspension. I think this pram will be fine if you are planning to walk on flat smooth surfaces like in a shopping centre. I do a bit of walking on footpaths and the pram literally does jolt sometimes on bumps in footpaths. i believe this is as the pram is lighter than others. I have partially fixed this by putting heavy nappy bag in bottom which i think helps.

Good Points

Its awesome how the seat can face forwards or backwards - a feature many others have too.

It feels fairly good going around corners the steering is good.

The pram itself feels sturdy enough it doesnt feel like its going to snap in half.

Just a few annoying design issues but i think with some modifications you get 80% there.

the price is obviously good but i think on reflection i should have spent a bit more $$$$ amd got something a little more friendly for a newborn with better ride, so hard at the shops to take one for a good spin, i wish they had sample footpaths you can try them on!

I Love this pram – It is perfect in every way! The only thing I would fault is it can't have a proper toddler seat because we are adding to our family we will need a double and I cried for days that we had to sell it to get a double. I needed up keeping it as a spare as I just couldn't part with it! Very highly recommend this pram!

Love this pram – It took me a long time to pick a pram and even though there were no reviews out there for this at the time I just loved it in the store so I went with the Rebel Q Sport and I am truly delighted with my choice. It looks stylish. You can use one hand to steer easily and also to close it shut. It folds down into one piece for the boot but I must… Read more

say if we hadn't recently bought a new Holden with a very big and long boot I do not think i would have been as happy as I may of had to put it into 2 pieces. Something you should check before you buy.

As I have a winter baby I purchased the deluxe foot warmers and rain and wind accessories. The foot warmers included a head rest and is just perfect for bub espically as I didn't buy the bassinet. It makes seat very warm and comfortable. I have bub in there since birth and it was perfect.

It is very easy to steer and very slim so easy to fit anywhere espically around shops. I also have people asking me about it and impressed when they use it. I probably need an extra sun visor as I think the one on it is a little short however when you look at price and add cost of assesories it is still very reasonably priced. Weight is just perfect. Anything heavier would start to be an issue.

Basket is great size. I would highly recommend to anyone. Reasonable priced. One hand steering and fold away. good handle height for taller people. You need to make sure it fits your boot

Excellent! – This pram is amazing, I love that the seat is adjustable and can face either direction. I purchased the Valco Rebel Q Sport the optional bassinett - love them both. The pram is compact, easy to fold down and put up, stylish and very similar to the Bugaboo Camelon 3, however it is cheaper in price and better quality. I have had 6-7 people come up… Read more ·  5

to me when out and about and ask the brand and asked for my opinon on the pram. I love it, and so does my partner. Would HIGHLY recommend this over all prams (truct me I tested thousands in many different stores before settling on this one, I chose this over the Bugaboo). Also Valco is an Australian brand, and I have contacted them previously when purchasing the bassinett and they have been more than helpful. EVERYTHING! Very similar to Bugaboo, but much reasonably priced! :) Nothing..
