handy to fixing Motor bikes, cars etc... Now Done over 9,500 klm on it all around Australia, my second vehicle when I park my HILUX for camping , no need to destruct the campsite if you have to go places. Great reliable bike even if second hand. Get One and try it. Saves starting a car to go just to the shop!! If you look after anything it generally will look after you, My wife now rides a Vaulk too, purchased new. She loves it after never being taught to ride a bike!!! still wont get on the back of my Kawasaki though. ENJOY.

Valk bikes are rubbish – We bought a valk e bike and it lasted 2 months and the crank bearings collapsed, they become unreachable after a few emails so we fixed the bearings at a local bike shop, then the battery died after 7 months and as expected the company all of a sudden becomes unreachable so now it is an expensive piece of crap sitting in the shed, what a waste of money, don't buy one of these bikes Show details

loose (this part was pre-assembled by manufacturer), attempting to tighten we notice the screw hole has been stripped. At the moment I am in limbo and cant seem to find an easy way to contact VALK for assistance.
Hoping to have a resolution as it sounds like a very strong support network from VALK. We do still very much enjoy the bikes and will continue to use, hopefully once fixed. You get what you pay for.

for the faulty screen that was provided on delivery. From there it went downhill though. Lots of messages sent and received. Videos needed to be sent and diagnostics completed by my husband using technical videos sent my mytopia. After ruling out issues with the pin and brakes, my husband was able to identify an issue with the bearings through his own investigations. Mytopia’s response… package with all original parts and return by courier at a cost of $150+ REALLY! This is not even an option given accessories have been added and bike seat replaced. What started as a really positive experience has turned sour quickly. Up until now I have and would have recommended this product. Not so now. If they can not provide a follow up service in other metropolitan areas then perhaps they should not sell online. I am very disappointed as now I am left without a bike and only a terrible service to talk of. Just grateful that none of my friends that I have referred this product to have placed an order yet.

Fantastic bike – This the third e-bike I have purchased. Straight out of the box it’s set up is great. Comfortable to ride and the parts are good quality. There were some issues with the battery and after several emails to Mytopia, they sorted it out very quickly. The after sales service is very good. I would definitely recommend Mytopia and this bike. Value for Money – I've never had an e-bike before so I can only go by my experience with this one. I absolutely love it. Well built excellent electronics long duration battery it just goes and goes. I was a little dubious about Chinese built but this thing rivals a Malvern Star. Bought on My Deal with Cash Rewards for under $900. Great entry level E-bike – Just clocked up 2000k, and it's running fine still. Replaced the brake pads twice (but that's to be expected). Nothing has broken, fallen off or failed. It's comfortable, easy to ride, and the battery is holding up well. I got this to replace an inferior, and more expensive leitner, and this just blows that piece of junk out of the water. Great value for money – This bike has been great value for money. I have about 450 km on it now over the year. I get about 50 km before the battery is dead flat, which is to and from Melbourne CBD. Only issue with the bike has been (and still randomly occurs) the amount of pedalling required for the power assist to kick in jumps up to 10 turns, which is really annoying.… Read more · 1
The freight company Mytopia used could have been better as the box was heavily damaged when delivered and there was some minor scratching to the frame. But mytopia compensated with cash and some extra spare parts. I find the support team at mytopia to be really responsive for the freight damage.

Every part in the cycle is low in quality execpt for the battery! – The bike lacks it's basic function of riding. I have been riding this bike from 9 months now and have done 850 KMs. I had to service this bike every 1.5 months as something gets out of performance and need replacement or repair. not have lined up the pedal properly when I first screwed it in although the metal on the crank appears quite soft. I have been unable to find a phone number of anyone to talk to at MyTopia, Edisons or MillsBrands concerning a replacement part under warranty. Fortunately, MyTopia has a good range of Valk spare parts and it was easier and quicker to simply order the replacement part than stuff around tracking down service via emails. Despite this, the bike is great value for money and I highly recommend it.

Fantastic value for money and good quality – Can't beat the value of this bike. Good quality too. Have gone as far as 70km before recharge. I replaced the seat with a softer gel sprung, although the original was ok. Brakes bite hard, gears shift correctly. Big tyres soak up smaller bumps and front forks ease the bigger ones. to overcome this with creative engineering solutions, using hose clamps with cable ties and adhesive tape. Front headlight was unable to be mounted correctly due to a power lead that was too short. The battery charges up ok overnight. Speedo and instruments work well. Sometimes the electric motor has some delay before it kicks in, not sure why, but doesn't bother me too much. Just need to pedal a bit harder for a few seconds before help arrives. Have gone up some long steep hills and been very impressed and thankful for the electrical assistance. Also, importantly, not so heavy that it can't be ridden without battery power on level ground. Hills would be a challenge.
