Great vacuum – Had mine over 20 yrs would buy another tomorrow if they sold them
Excellent – I have had a Vax of this type for 18 years and it has given consistently good service. Recently when I needed a spare part for it,this was still available and at a reasonable price. That is service ! Reliability A bit noisy.
Excellent – very good vacuum cleaner, i especially like the wet and dry cleaning features on this vacuum, this is a really good vacuum fo people who are in a small cleaning buisness or even for home use. It has very good suction power, and it has wet and dry features for cleaning the floor, which comes in handy if you want to give your carpet a thourough wash… Read more
and clean. It is very large and you need to clean it very well if you use the wet cleaning function, and it can get very dirty inside if you don't clean after you use it.
Good – For the price this vacuum cleaner is a bargain as it also does a wet wash. I used this vacuum a few times a week and found it to clean fantastically. It picked up much of the dirt and has many different attachments to cater for varies furniture items. Although there is no cloth bag included, using paper bags was not a problem as I hardly… Read more
filled them up at all. Over 12 months I used four bags at a cost of $10.
The wet wash for carpets is a good addition to have however it is not well made. It is very fidgety to use as the suction is poor, requires a good amount assembly and cleaning. Great cleaning abilities. Comes with lots of different functions for a low price. The wet wash could be better.
Good – this is a great vacuum cleaner and with the attatchments there is not much you cannot do, storage is hard because of its shape & size but it is good value for money. with the attatchment you can wash/shampoo floors bulky
OK – Great as a vacuum cleaner over the years...As for other features-failed to meet my expectations for price. Had my vax for 12 years..Great suction till now..probably needs a part and will look into it.. Able to shampoo carpets and purchased for this reason but only ever did this once or twice...Sat down and read the book but maybe i was doing… Read more
something wrong as too much water seemed to be going into carpet to clean it...Got the carpet man to do carpets over the years instead of dragging out all the gear to shampoo carpets...I guess lacking in after sales service for advice and help to get full potential for machine..Machine bulky to store..
Good – I had a vax 1000 before my 2000. It was fantastic and so too is the next. I only sold the 1000 because I got a great price and so decided to upgrade. Shampoo, defoamer, replacement filters readily available, though with care these will last very well. Great range of attachments. Can clean upholstery, nooks, corners etc very well. Great suction… Read more
and the wet and dry functions are great. Saves a lot of money on commercial carpet cleaning costs. Options of cloth or paper bags. Takes time to clean filter system regularly. Bit bulky but most cleaners are. Pipes difficult to get apart if not cleaned in the joins well after wet cleaning.
Excellent – I had a Vax I bought second hand in 1989 & upto March this year its suction was still as good as the day I bought it. I bought my new one in March & I think if it lasts as long as the other one I'll be very happy. No loss of suction like a lot of other vacuum cleaners after a period of time. Needs storage place for accessories.
