Absolutely not worth it even if free – Please avoid this piece of diarrhoea at all costs. Don’t even worry if it’s free, still not worth the cost of headaches day in day out. How the ACCC and consumer advocates allow such useless products in our market. Show details
Don't buy Viano.. there's a reason they're so cheap – These TV's are pretty bad, not really smart, ultraHD or 4k. Keeps crashing has massive software/firmware issues that can't be fixed because I didn't get a manual in the box and now the Aus company has disappeared, one of their websites is for sale, the support website (address on the back of tv) takes you to a pet supply site! And the support/company 1800 number has been disconnected. This was not worth the cheap price. Show details

Fantastic As a display-forget the smart side of it – I use this tv with a Telstra tv and Xbox series x. Forget about using any of the built in smart tv features absolute rubbish. Speakers and not very good either. Absolutely fantastic panel in tv so bright, crisp and vivid. Great 4K HDR looks super crisp and vibrant. If anyone wants to sell there’s to me I’ll have another. being someone who notices these things it just annoyed the hell out of me but what could I do, I wasn't going to take it back for 2 spots but in hindsight, maybe I should have.
Whilst it did a pretty good job acting as a monitor for our media player, it wasn't long before the television stopped picking up channels, and despite changing cords there was no improvement. I had purchased Kayo Sports but was unable to use it on this tv as it wasn't compatible so I had to hook the computer up to the tv and run it on a browser.
The remote worked for a little while and it was an adventure to get it to work where it felt as though you had to bend the remote for it to work and even that was hit and miss so I did have to purchase a Harmony universal remote for it. Two weeks after doing it, the screen just died, the power was on but nothing on the screen and I have to say that I was pretty glad it stopped so I could get something that was more reliable and worked.
Not sure if they are still around, but they had want to make a huge improvement before I would ever ever even contemplate looking at one again.
Wish these guys made a 75 inch – Bought from big w on sale $669 cheapest 65 inch I've ever seen. for free to air the EPG only last a couple of days then goes blank. Re tune the TV and EPG works again. 5. Now this problem I've never heard of and it's only started to happen after about 6 months, don't know if it's the foxtel or the tv. At random times it happens for a while then goes away. The sound will mute all background noise as soon as the actor finishes talking?? While they talk sound is there when they stop so does all sound like it's on mute. Got me stuffed but as long as it only rarely happens I'm not fussed.

money, but like to have stuff too, this tv at 65” is great. The picture quality is bright and sharp, the mounting holes are perfect for wall mounting or a center mount foot, (I didn’t like the outside legs as this tv is huge I couldn’t fit it on our corner unit, so I bought a centre foot and it’s perfect.
Full functional smart features, although Netflix was alittle hard to find at first.
The android systems is great with kodi and all sorts of apps available plus I can add more off the memory stick.
HD channels look clear and clean, I’ve not done any 4K stuff cause well.. it’s not on free to air lol

Bought 5 years ago still going strong – I bought this tv from Big w nearly 5 years ago for $420. This is a ultra hd tv 4K, not a smart tv. Such a good buy for the price! off the secondary power switch by accident and they helped us get it back on. I also had some issues with the legs which cracked, they sent me replacements within a couple of days. The support team, namely Wayne, are very quick to respond and assist.

Viano unacceptable – Like others have written remote shat itself 12mths or so after purchasing. Now have been kicked out of my apps I.e netflix. Which worked next to everytime till 21 Aug 2023. Tried to update services .ie play services or looked for netflix update. Nahdah. Complete block out.. This crap is just a ploy to promote top brand purchasing and control of markets. It should be against the law. It's similar to the computer 2001 system shut down experienced yet that was able to be fixed by simple re programming.. Price or brand name should have no relevance.. if so DONT PROVIDE TO THE PUBLIC targeting the lower income earners deliberately.
TV is not worth the cheap price – TV has to warm up before I can use it, like 10 minutes. Probably should have checked the reviews. The only good reviews seam to be written the week after purchase. Would never buy another one. Show details

Crap tv – I have 2 of the 65 inch Vianos both remotes stopped working after a year. My daughter has a 55 inch & her remote shat itself. Now using a generic remote for all 3 tvs. The 2 65 inch have lines running down the screen. It's annoying when watching certain shows they stand out badly. Would not recommend this brand at all. As of today the Smart TV that I bought is not working at all, it suddenly stopped working and I cannot turn the unit on no matter what I do.
I ended up buying a New Smart TV with the brand that I could trust better than Viano.

uninstall it Smart YoutubeTv, reset the Tv to factory settings, unplug my modem then reinstall Smart YoutubeTv I did get it to work. Android Update??? – Not very happy with this TV's Software, it is not even 1 years old and currently running Android 6.0 and we're now in 2020 and still no update. This is perfect if you want to practice smashing television screens – Worst tv I’ve ever owned. My Netflix only shows 1/3 of what it shows on all of my other tvs , Stan or Foxtel app won’t even work , No Disney Plus , 10 play only works when it chooses to. YouTube notifications just annoy everyone popping up on the screen Even my remote only works when it wants to and I have to switch between mouse and normal mode to do anything. this unit shows me all channels (I don't care that it's nine network or ABC, I want the name of the current show). Some of the menus are un-intuitive. Haven't yet worked out how to switch to USB input other than at power on. Haven't tried to download apps and probably wont. Had one issue were it started randomly 'forgetting' channels, tried to auto-tune and lost ALL channels. Needed to do Factory Reset to get it working again. (good thing I don't do apps eh?)
Bottom line: I don't mind it as a 2nd TV for the kids.
Netflix not working – For the last 3 days I have not been able to access Netflix on my Viano STV65UHD4K (65") tv. I rang Netflix and they said my tv is now not compatible. Blew up – Its supposedly a smart tv but you have hardly any apps to choose from so have been using my PS4 to access everything.
