Problems… – Hey having some troubles I just got it delivered last night ran it for about 30 mins working just fine but now it’s not making the sound it was when it was working and I don’t feel cool air coming out and I’m not sure what to do

emptied out the water and dried each part. During this process, water ran out of the bottom of the machine, even though the water tray was empty. Somehow water had goten out of the water tray and into the space where the motor was. The unit was stationary from the time I added the water tank until the time I found the leak (so this didn't happen from me "tipping" the unit). Very poor design. Now I see many others have had similar problems.

Really helps me – I can't say where the product was bought from as it was bought as a Christmas present for me by my son. I have used it every day since Christmas and I love it. No issues at all with leaking water. I love the fan on it which blows lovely and cool; I have breathing issues and the moist air makes me feel so much better. The fact that the unit cleans the air is a bonus. I would definitely buy another one. Show details

Pleasantly surprised – I had read the reviews after being gifted the humidifier. I have to say, I followed instructions and it’s been great. No leaking, works well and whilst I’m using it as an adult and don’t need the night light setting I find it quite pretty. Absolutely no complaints! Show details ·  1

Gushing Water Fountain – Bought this morning and instantly was gushing water out from the bottom. No idea why! Called baby bunting and they are allowing us to return for a full refund. Absolute waste of time and cheap product. Wish I saw the reviews before I bought it. Show details

Stay away from it – It started to leak water from bottom after couple time of usage. Tried change filter, googled reason but doesn't help with the problem. Then reached the warranty team to check if under warranty. Was told to provide purchase proof otherwise cannot be warranted. No stay away from it, otherwise you'll be unlucky- it ruined my carpet, wasted my money on purchasing those expensive filter. If I can, I give 0 star.

Water leaking – Stay away from the product. Had my entire carpet wet since the water leaks overnight. Had to replace my carpet at the end. Some issues with the valve i guess. Lasted only few months. Show details

Not great – Initially happy with the product, however after two days it leaked water EVERYWHERE from beneath causing water damage to my shelves. a safe product if this happens as water and electricity obviously don’t mix. If this has happened multiple times in one store I’d be interested to see how many have actually been sent back for the same thing elsewhere. Not happy for a fairly expensive product.

Leaking everywhere due to poor design by manufacture – Vick’s Starry Night V3700, Why is there a manufacturer whole in the bottom of the housing it appears to serve absolutely no engineered purpose other then to ruin anything near it because it allows the unit to leak. Terrible – We had only ran the humidifier twice. It soaked our dresser and ruined the wood. Since we purchased it thru Amazon, it was a third party transaction and could not return or exchange it. Show details

Loved it, will buy another – We had this humidifier for about a year an a half and it worked perfectly. It only broke when our daughter climbed onto the night stand we had it on and knocked it off which cracked the water container. if seams. Without perfect negative pressure these types of units will leak as described by people. The unit isn't "cooling" as such as it doesn't contain a refrigerant so it is no more cooling than a small fan would be. It does however humidify and filter the air well. People seem to be confusing a humidifier with a vapourizer. You don't want warn must for a cold as warmth helps germs, it is the humidity that helps the lungs clear out and decongest. We loved this product and are looking at replacing it with another. It did you exactly what it was supposed to do which is filter and humidify the air. We used a regular heater on an opposite wall during colder months but this unit never caused dramatic changes in temperature.

Read before buying – My 5mth old had a runny nose during the day and blocked nose at night while trying to sleep. As he's too young for vapour rub, i wanted to invest in a vapourizer. when you have an infant, or anyone for that matter, with cold symptoms, a cold house is the last thing you want. We used it for a few hrs and that was it. When all the lights are off it doubles as a cool night light with cute starry lighting

thinking I over filled the water I put less in with the same result. I wish I had read the reviews, I threw it out. I don’t know how it is still on the market. Don’t waste your money.

leaks! – I’ve read to not move the humidifier because doing so will make it leak. I’ve set it where I want it to go and still it leaks from the bottom hole. This makes me nervous being close to the electrical outlets and what not. Doesn’t give me a piece of mind especially being a baby product! Show details

the bathroom thinking i was doing something wrong then flooded my bathroom vanity. This product is the worst $90 i have ever spent. I was trying to give my baby some relief but ended up more stressed. Do not buy this product. Its going back today.

Not what I expected – I purchased this humidifier a month ago and I don’t think it works to what the expectations of the product should. When used on the low night ‘quiet’ setting all I can feel is cold air coming out of vent, my son has a cold and this actually makes the room more cold then then weather we have to turn the humidifier off. We can’t smell any Vick’s vapour in the room. Am I doing something wrong!! Show details

read the reviews on here and notice that a lot of people with similar issues were placing it on a shelf.

This is probably why there were puddles in the a.m.

Anyways I dried it out filled the tank. There is no leak.

So heads up place the base where you want it first.

Leaked everywhere – I am Extremely disappointed with this product that Vicks has! After following all the instructions to make sure i was using it properly, I noticed the unit started leaking all over the place from the little hole at the back. Very badly designed. Woke up with my bed soaking wet! – I put this on top shelf of my bed for my daughter. I thought I heard a drip of water but I thought I was crazy. Woke up this morning and the whole area she lays is soaking wet from leaking from the bottom. Also got my alarm clock soaked.  Show details

Three machines in one day – The first tank leaked because of a faulty seal. No big deal. After calling customer service, I returned for a second. The second leaked through the hole at the bottom. and damages everything beside, beneath and around it for like a 2 foot radius because it acts as a faucet emptying the entire one gallon of water.

Guess what? I can't call customer service, again, because they're closed..

It’s okay but wouldn’t buy again – I’ve had this humidifier for 3months and it’s leaking water everywhere! Should this happen when it never gets moved and is on a flat surface!! machine keeps pouring water out, very disappointed I thought buying Vic’s meant it would be good quality. To make matters worse while trying to stop the flood of water the tank slipped out of my hands and dropped on the floor and the handle smashed off it.

Complete disaster

Great product – A great product that has helped the whole family during fly season. To be picky the operation lights are bright, the red colour in the cycle goes dark then what seems super bright again and can be a bit noisy on the night setting but it does a fab job. Leaking product. Not recommend – I Bought it because thinking it good brand and make not too dry around the room when my baby sleep. Unfortunately water leaking everywhere when I put water in. Why are you still making these?!! – You have hundreds of comments saying this think is faulty and leaks. I have used this thing once and it leaks everywhere, leaks isn't even the right word... cool air blowing from lower part of machine – Have my starry night v3700 on my nightstand. The cool air (on low) blew across the nightstand and right onto me. haven't had any leakage as other complaints....just too much moisture on low. The machine sat about 3' from my bed.
