drank it happily for years. now it tastes like sugar soap. zero coffee flavour. never again. Show details
Purchased two 1kg bags at $24 each, just before they hiked the price to $50 each. Have spent the past week attempting to achieve a grinding / brewing result that tastes like coffee. All I can taste is the 2 teaspoons of sugar. Thought my tastebuds were awol. Resorted to another, less expensive brand this morning and had a brilliant and satisfying… Read more
cup of coffee. Won’t be throwing the Vittoria in the bin just yet, but it is at the back of the pantry shelf. Previously bought the Ground Vittoria Italian Blend 1kg, but won’t be paying $50 for that either.
Vittorio Italian blend coffee beans was $27.00 in Coles & Woolworths one week ago (May 14) One week later Now 18 May. Price $50.00 How can these stores or Vittorio justify this price rise. It seems the gouging of cost of living goes on and on. Maybe buy your coffee at the opposition store
Highway robbery by company that owns it. 2 weeks ago i bought it as always for $14.50. Today i go in there to discover the 500 grams that i buy has gone up in price to $28 how do you explain it. We are not talking a 2 dollar increase. You have doubled the price. Vittoria coffee shame on you taking advantage of people like this. With prices like this i can see your company going into liquidation one day soon if you treat your customers like this
Spend a bit more and get better – The cheapest bag on the shelf, and it tastes like it Show details
Not the type of coffee I was expecting – Felt like I didn't get my bang for a buck. Show details
This brand has a issue with not piercing the top for brewing – I have had several issues with these, mainly the top aluminium cover does not get pierced properly, so you get mostly water in the cup, and the coffee comes out of the BACK of the capsule, making a mess inside your machine. The secondary issue, is even when you get a batch that DOES work, the coffee is weak, nowhere near a 14 strength. UPDATE: We… Read more
have avoided the Gold Espresso problematic ones, and recently we tried the Black Valley 15, and the Valentina 13, as a double-shot, and these new ones DO pierce just fine, AND give a nice strong brew. I like a double espresso, wife likes an espresso + ristretto, with frothed milk.
So good! – I bought these and so glad to have this it taste like no other and I dont want anything else but only these.
Was my 'go to' coffee, now it's in the trash – This was my favourite, reasonably priced, coffee. I don't know what has changed, but recently the smell upon opening and the flavour is off. It now has a soapy bitter after taste. I thought it might be me, so I opened another bag from a different batch and it was ok. When I finish that bag and opened another, the foul taste had returned. I think… Read more
they must have changed their process. I only got one good bag across 3 batch numbers. I’ve ended up throwing out 3kg. Unfortunately, I'm now looking for a new daily coffee.
Not impressed Jaan – Atrocious Coffee ☕. Very disappointed in both Costco & Woolies for selling rubbish coffee such as Coffex, Vittoria & Lavazza. Don't pay $60 for rubbish coffee called Vittoria, I recently discovered 2 awesome coffee ☕ beans you can buy from cherry beans cafe in Carnes Hill & Three stores coffee from the Coffee ☕ club in the Westfield Liverpool.… Read more
The coffee club sells an awesome fresh coffee for $40 a kilo & Cherry beans cafe in Carnes Hill sells another good coffee ☕ for $45 a kilo. You do get what you pay for.
I’m shocked – Previously a Saeco & Silvia user I switched to Nespresso style capsules because I’m & and lazy. I’ve tested numerous capsules & have 1 or 2 favourites. Recent purchase of Vittoria compatible capsules 100% Arabica shocked me. Coloured water is my best description. I can’t really comment on depth, intensity, colour or crema because there’s nothing… Read more
there. First few cups I kept checking myself that I had indeed placed a new cap in the machine. All I can say it tastes like coffee but just think of the worst cup you’ve ever had. I have 40 of these!!!
Garbage – Absolute trash, dried out and stale. Needs to be packed in with extreme force on the finest grind to get anywhere close to adequate pressure due to how dry it is.
Rancid beans – Bought a 1 kg bag of Italian Blend beans from Coles. They were on special and have bought Victoria frequently in the past with no problem. Used them to make a flat white with my semi auto De Longhi espresso machine. Result was a nasty brew that tasted meaty and metallic. Tried adjusting the grind to improve the extraction - just made things… Read more
worse.
So, 1 kg of beans in the bin, $20 out of pocket and had a cup of tea instead. Won’t risk buying Vittoria ever again!

The best coffee beans for your expresso machine – I purchased 2 x Vittoria Italian Blend Coffee Beans 1kg so I can make heaps of cafe lattes, cappuccinos, con pannas, flat whites, long blacks macchiatos, mochaccinos, ristrettos and short blacks for my family and friends when I move into my own unit in March 2021. The staff were kind to me and the service was terrific because they gave me free shipping. Show details
How is this product even sold as 'coffee' – This is my first ever product review as I'm usually too lazy to complain if a product doesn't meet expectations or if its good value, I just simply keep buying it. But these muddy-water Vittoria pods are so terrible and a rip off that I felt I had to get off my freckle and warn others (if you like actual coffee) to steer clear. Usually use D'or… Read more
pods but the local supermarket had run out. Bought these Vittoria 'Italian' capsules, never been more disappointed or caffeine-deprived. Almost nothing but water flows out of them.
New Vittoria Coffee Capsules – I bought the Vittoria Zimbabwe capsules and some of their other new ones for my Nespresso machine. I put a Zimbabwe capsule in but only a few drips came out so I used a L'Or capsule and it worked fine. The same thing happened when I tried a Vittoria Zimbabwe capsule - again only one or two drips. I really like Vittoria coffee but I will not be… Read more
buying any more of their capsules. They are hopeless. A waste of money. I would give it no star if I could. They just do not work.
new Vittoria coffee pod range is not compatible with the Breville Nespresso machines – My husband and I have been using Vittoria Mountain Grown coffee pods in our Breville Nespresso machine for a couple of years now with no problems whatsoever. Last week I saw the new range at Woolworths and bought the Zimbabwe and Italian pods to try. Neither work. They fit the machine but the grind must be different as only a few drops comes out… Read more
of the machine. We tried 4 pods from each box with the same result. I must stress we are using the same machine we have always used and the Vittoria Mountain Grown individually wrapped pods in the old style packaging large square box work well in the machine as do L'or pods. So it is definitely a problem with the new Vittoria pods which unfortunately appear no longer compatible with the Nespresso machine.
The best coffee beans I recently tried – I got the best results when start Using the double wall basket. Show details
Like water – I used these beans in an espresso machine and no matter what you do it pours out like water and as you can imagine tastes terrible. Tried using the finest grind size and it still comes out like water. Never had this issue with any other coffee beans I've tried in the past. Would not recommend Show details
Cheap flavourless stale coffee – Vittoria coffee have gone out of there way to find the cheapest substandard lowest quality coffee beans to provided costumers with the Italian Blend A Terrible cheap stale flavorless coffee.
These should be a crime – I am so offended by the taste of this coffee. One pod made with only 40mls of milk still produced a watery dirty coffee taste. They taste like you have tried to use a coffee pod twice. Out of all coffee pods on the market, these are the worst I've tried. Even instant coffee is better. I don't understand how they are justified to be selling on… Read more
our supermarket shelves. They are truly horrible with no coffee taste. Dont waste your money, you will be mortified. I would give no stars if there was an option to.
