Do not buy - terrible product – I'm highly disappointed that Vivtar would sale such a terrible product. I went out on the Internet to troubleshoot the connection issues that I was having with this camera, and to my disgust realized that thousands of other buyers were having the exact same issues. Am I crazy to think that a $10 camera should work, or that you care? I grabbed these cameras as a fun simple gift to give to guest at my wedding so that we could see the wedding from their eyes, just to be highly disappointed when none (yes NONE) of them would connect. Now if it was just one or two that wouldn't connect I would have thought it was just a faulty USB cord, or user error. However for none of them to connect, that's a manufacturing issue.

If you purchased this product and are having any issues, run back to the store you bought it from and return it immediately. There is no solution to your issues. Inexpensive Too many issues. Not worth the $10 dollars at all

I would disagree, this little camera does work but you must know how to install the software that came with the camera before you canupload the pictures that you have taken and be sure to read the instruction manual that came with the camera before trying to use it.The little camera performs very well for what it is and that is an digital camera that is inexpensive and handy to have.10 dollars is an fair price for this camera but if you are not good with figuring out how to work it you will certainly be more pleased with an epensive camera that has the features that you need buildt into it already.

Wayne, instead of ridiculing him you should have helped him, which makes it apparent that you have no idea how to fix the issue. The real issue here is that Vivitar farmed out production on this item and the sub-contractor is notorious for shoddy equipment. This camera works with certain equipment and was not beta-tested on anything else, therefore anything you can do as a consumer to get the camera connected would help the public at large.

To say that it's not worth the $10 may not be true. If, like me, the only USB cable that you could find with the end that this cable has was packaged with a $22 adapter set, the $10 investment was well worth it.

If you find a solution, let me know. This camera might work as a security camera. Who knows?

Okay, maybe I was an bit overbearing I apolize. With that said ..Dont expect an 45 to 75 dollar camera for ten dollars. Some equiptment might not work with this camera and like many products Beta testing is done by the end user/ custumer. This camera would work as an security camera usb cable is rather short. And I have found that the software is an bit touchy when trying to upload into an computer..I am not an know it all by any means and with that sais if anyone else has better ideas or comments to help others out by all means please do so.Wayne

The Camera with Unrecoverable Photos – If (a) the battery dies on you, all photos are lost. You don't know this until you access the manual when you go to download, but, by then, its too late. If you plug in the camera to your computer and begin software installation, too bad, your camera becomes unrecognizable to the software; you've got to get the installation done first (learnt from the CD), then complete the installation.

Hard to imagine a more user-hostile camera.

Poor design

Consider a different Camera – My experience with this camera was horrible. We took this to our first Burning Man and the pictures we got came out all fuzzy on "hi quality", we also only got about 17 pictures total when it advertises 200+. pictures came out fuzzy, and it overwrites your pictures if you take too many on high quality
