OK – I had purchased this Volta as second hand, and now I don't even remember why I purchased it because I don't even do much cleaning (habitual) so maybe it was some thought floating in the back of my head that I'll probably need something like this sooner than later. Didn't get much use out of it because the whole assortment of parts and instructions… Read more

seemed really scary at first, but then once I got into it, it's really fun playing with the different attachments. One minute I was doing the bed with the fabric one, then suddenly I was out on the balcony doing the windows then I took a break. You need a few breaks unless you do those hand exercises with those gripper things in your spare time. The effort to push that button down with your right thumb get's downright painful after 30 min. I suggest a break every 15min in case your thumb ends up cramped in that position for a week. Now 2 months on I just did the lounge set I just bought, and had to quickly scotch guard it afterward. So guess the results will speak for themselves tomorrow. Overall, okay product. Not worth buying it full price as it's not a frequently used appliance. Save that for the vacuum. - All the little tools and attachments. Everything seems suitable for other uses as well. Just don't use them on a person.

- Doesn't take long to steam up

- Safe design as I haven't melted a finger yet. Although the long wand bit does fall loose if you don't connect them properly to begin with.

- Economical design. There's always plenty of water.

= Much, much better product than their vacuums that's for sure! Might use this to clean up the hepa filter and see if it works properly after that. Probably not.

- Quite cheap, but I bought mine second hand for $25.00 and i DID get some use out of it in the end so that's a good buy for me!^^ - Have to be careful when you need to refill the water to wait a little and then quickly twist it and move your hand away. Steam quickly escapes so be quick.

- Strap for the shoulder broke, but I find it too tiring to use one thumb to push the button and use the left to hold the steamer. It's a bit of a weird design overall.

- Should make it easier to pour water into it. Keeps over flooding as it's so narrow opening
