The appliance doesn’t seem to be charging any more, red light stays on although on charge even overnight, any suggestions on a fix? It’s about two years old and I would think for the price it should last a bit longer than that
From my experience your razor is dead. I've had three now and two of them died after two years. I agree, it should last a lot longer, especially with modern batteries, but it still pays for itself (just) with today's prices for haircuts. I'm amazed that they have not improved their batteries by now as they must get many complaints. Sorry for the bad news.

Hi I bought this for my partner for Christmas last year so not even a year old used it maybe 3 times now when charging the red light is flashing even after being on charge for hours and when I unplug it and turn it on it lights up green but when I go to use it , it stops and I have to put it on charge again .. It's not even a year old this is disappointing for the price I paid . Can I get it replaced at no cost .
Not Sure but try. I had one four years ago that showed similar signs but in my case after two and a half years, so I did not attempt to get a replacement. I still bought another one (two years ago) though, and so far so good. My guess is that the manufacturer is well aware of this problem and should do the right thing and change the design of the device and, in the meantime, exchange your failed device.

I don't think the batteries are replaceable. Mine only lasted about 3 months and died. I opened up the unit, removed the battery all together and rewired it to run on the charger input only. The battery was all soldered in and difficult to remove. The whole thing was very tricky, even for me, an electrician.
I don't think the battery can be replaced normally. My first battery lasted about 2 years, then I bought a new unit. The battery is this products weak link. Same really as the cutter works very well.

The machine cuts well but the sound seems very loud. Is that to be expected
The machine is quite loud, but I found that if when clean of hair you apply a drop of oil (supplied) the cutter quietens down a lot.
Yes, my machine is so loud it makes my brain richochet against my temples. Oiling it didn't help.
After reading all these reviews, I have NO intention of spending money on this very questionable piece of equipment.

Heaps of charger/adapter sets available on eBay, the best ones have settable output voltages for more flexibility. Just get the ratings off your old charger (voltage/current etc) and make sure the one you buy has these ratings covered and comes with the correct adapter for the VSM inlet.

Slow flashing is normal for charging. If it's rapid flashing, most likely it's a battery charging issue. My battery is pretty cactus too, just need to find the time and quiet to gut the thing and explore the options.

Where do I get replacement parts for the Crew cut circular cutter, I dropped the thing and the clear plastic ring has broken, also the battery is useless, but leave it plugged into the charger to do the job, sorry total waste of good money, But where can I get that ring ?
I am using the product for the 3rd time. I have been happy with it...I was only expecting a basic cut to keep my hair under control during these COVID times. During this 3rd cut I stopped to remove some hair from inside the comb guide, i.e. removing the guide and using my fingers to clean out some hair. Put the comb guide back on and it no longer works. It is fully charged, the red light is solid when I connect to the charger. The green light comes on, but nothing happens. Any thoughts/solution?
