given any option to review or confirm the change, and no credit was issued for the price difference.
I could have cancelled and rebooked the ticket at the lower price, but instead the system changed my booking to a cheaper flight without refunding the difference. On top of that, any future changes will now require me to pay any fare difference.
This was confusing and frustrating, and not what I expected from a flexible ticket.

What made the situation worse was how the airline handled our compensation claim. We submitted a valid claim under EU261 regulations, but they responded with incorrect information, stating we were notified more than 14 days in advance — which is simply not true. The disruption happened on the same day as the flight. The whole experience caused unnecessary stress and financial loss, and the customer service we received was extremely poor. It shouldn’t be this difficult to get fair compensation when the airline is clearly at fault. Overall, I would not choose to fly with them again.

refreshments were offered in this 5 hour wait and as a solo traveller I had no option to get anything. I was assured at the time that I would be fully reimbursed for all reasonable expenses (including accommodation, meals, and transport) incurred as a result of the disruption.
Despite providing all receipts (which were previously reviewed and approved by the airline), I have now been waiting over four months with no reimbursement and no meaningful resolution. The total claim of €490.09 covers accommodation, local transport, and meals during the period I was stranded — yet the airline continues to claim that the document dates “do not match the flight dates,” which is simply incorrect.
The cancellation occurred on 25 July, I remained at the airport until early 26 July, and ultimately had to rebook a flight to my next destination, as the airline could not provide alternate transport to my original destination, Nice.
Earlier in the trip, this airline also cancelled a flight of mine without any notification, rebooking us on a flight (without our knowledge) 13 hours later - which left me in Athens airport for a minimum of 13 hours without accommodation.
I’ve sent multiple emails, and each response from the airline seems to ignore previous correspondence and the documentation already approved. To date, I have not received a single euro in compensation. After months of waiting, this experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I’m sharing this publicly in the hope that this company finally resolves this matter and provides the reimbursement that was promised.
Terrible flight (flying from Alicante-Spain to Paris); DO NOT use this airline, regretful is the name of this buisness: absolutely unhygienic cabin smels like urine . Being robbed – Can I just select 0 star? Robbery airline. Paying EUR60 for a carry on suitcase, despite we have purchased 3 25kg checking luggage and only use 64kg. Be careful, they can take ur money for any chance.

with 2 different claim numbers as this was 2 people on 2 different bookings. They have paid 1 of the claims and now have closed the PIR incident without paying the 2nd claim. I called last week and spoke to Samantha who said that a supervisor would call me. A week later no one had called me so I asked for a supervisor to call me back. This time, a supervisor called Jose Maria called me back saying that the PIR was closed and he understood that it wasn't fair that only 1 claim had been settled but that it was legal and I would be getting nothing and to ask the other person to share half of his compensation!! Can you believe this??? Thieves and scammers!! Will never fly Vueling again and would advice no one to fly with Vueling either!! Lost Luggage – Flew with Vueling from Gatwick to Rome via Barcelona. At Rome, only one of our checked in bags arrived. The Worst customer service EVER!!!! – We flew back from Lanzarote to Paris Orly via Barcelona but our bags were lost on the way. admitting they delivered the bags to our Paris hotel after we had left they still have not delivered our bags to us. Also every time we call we are told they "will send an email to the airport", which they will NOT give us a copy of, and also tell us there is no supervisor or above that can speak English so there is no-one else we can speak to and tell us "This is all we can do". I can not believe that this is how a company can run its customer service! No communication, no attempt to rectify the situation and no offer of compensation because on the company system the bags have been delivered and the case is CLOSED! If this is the amount of care they take with their customer service its scary to think how much do they care about the servicing of their planes.
Bad, unreliable, poorly communicated – I really don't get this company. They have tons of flights a day from Milano to Barcelona, and each time there is a problem. from their app. Once in the airport, the assistants don't know a think, they redirect you to the app (which is not updated in time, so let's make loops). Last but not least they try to "refund" you only the cost of your tickets and not reimburse you as by EU law, you have to go dig in the customer service to find it out. Are you being basically scammers? They ruined my Christmas, today they ruined my vacations. I am sick and tired to have to take time off from work so that you can put me on the flight that suits YOU more. Are you really expecting people to keep flying with you? For me today it has been the last flight I take with Vueling. Easy and Ryan have less flights per day, but they are a bit more reliable.
Vueling are unreliable and have no customer service! – I can't comment on the quality of a Vueling flight because we never got off the ground. When we arrived at SCQ Spain airport on 18/6/23 we found our 18.15hrs flight to LGW London was delayed. board the plane luggage in overhead lockers, doors closed when an announcement is made that the staff have now been working for too many hours and the flight is cancelled!! Wouldn't they know that before we got on the plane? We are told to get off the plane and that someone on the first floor would help us. There was someone there, but they knew nothing and didn't know what to tell everyone, they soon disappeared. Every now and then a staff member would appear and the plane load of 200 plus people would converge on them demanding to know what was going on, but still they couldn't tell us anything! This went on till around 22.30hrs gradually people started slipping away as they were getting sick of waiting around they were making their own arrangements for accommodation and travel. We were told by some people who managed to speak to a staff member that they could not offer us another flight to our destination till 23/6/23 five days after we were meant to be there! Exhausted and sick of no helpful answers we gave up waiting, booked our own accommodation that night arriving there starving hungry after 2300hrs. Fortunately someone had the sense to start a WhatsApp group for passengers before people left so we could find out what other people were experiencing. Some people who stayed around and refused to leave had their accommodation that night arranged and paid for them including breakfast, but they didn't get in till around 0100hrs. That should have been offered to everyone immediately. We ended up catching a bus to Porto the next day and flying with another airline the morning after that, so we had to pay for another night's accommodation in Porto. Our travel agent has applied for a refund of our tickets, but there has been none so far 4 weeks later. I applied for EU compensation through Vueling which has been paid. I also applied to Vueling for reimbursement of our accommodation on the night of the cancellation as well as the bus we took to Porto, and the 2 nights lost accommodation in the UK as these were costs we incurred as a direct result of the flight cancellation. They have reimbursed me for the accommodation on the night of the cancellation only so am trying to recoup the rest on travel insurance. I had to supply all my receipts and boarding pass for the other airline to Vueling, I don't know why when all they paid for was the one night. So if you do book with Vueling and your flight gets cancelled don't expect any customer service to help you or full reimbursement of your out of pocket expenses. My advice is don't take the chance. We found the replacement flight with Easy Jet quite good.

Overbooked. Rude staff. Cannot communicate in English – They overbooked the flight but didn't allow us to cancel the tickets. Two of us were flying but we only got 1 seat. we have a connecting flight in two hours, but there's no recommendation of a solution for our situation, they only want to make max. profit out of you and don't even bother to talk to you. The staff even got pissed after we tried a few times to repeat our question in English very slowly, and she made a face to us in front of all the other passengers.
Buyer beware – Vueling will not, under any circumstances, provide any form of refund or credit. You could be in a coma and it would not qualify. Their approach is a case study in how to appear to offer an option without actually doing so. No contact details, automated chatbots, full mailboxes etc. Book with them if you're 99% sure you will travel, but do so accepting you will lose the entire amount if you don't. Show details

This company is very much like a scam – We booked ticket from Milan to Paris on 29/04/2023, they canceled our flight 48 hours before departure, it is veryyyy difficult to request a refund..no customer service at all. I have tried several times to make an online request for a refund but I am just talking to a robot and when I am given the choice for a refund none of my options that I need are available so I have given up. Hopefully this review somehow gets noticed by somebody in the Airlines otherwise the three of us will have two seats each on our flight from Croatia to Barcelona, what a shame it's such a short flight or we could have really enjoyed the extra space between us!!

felt very bad, like a fainting, because I did not eat nothing in the morning and I was supposed to eat on board.
The attitude of the cabin crew were not acceptable:
1st: they said to us that we had the info about the catering before the flight (we did NOT have it). 2nd: The cabin crew and the senior cabin crew were eating their meals in front of us in the galley and laughing… during this time and we had NOTHING to eat. 3rd: the cabin crew at the front had a friend in the flight and thy were talking everytime with him loud and laughing in the galley. This is not a good professional attitude.
Moreover, the cabin crew at the back (not the blond one) had an agressive way to talk with passengers, he seemed bored to be here. Shame on him.
NEVER AGAIN Vueling for us. We like to go often to Canarias,and to Europe but we ll never take this company. We’ll take a real company with an experienced and trained crew, not this « vueling bus » without crew in the cabin.
Vueling should train their cabin crew about the behaviour to have on board and the way to talk with passengers. And the cabin crew should understand that we paid for a service and they are here because there is passengers paying. So WE are paying them.

They exchanged our payment to them with future flight credits, which we were happy with. However, Vueling Airlines, whom we booked to fly from London to Rome were completely disgusting with their customer service. It took us days to get through to an agent by phone and when we did, they were curt, unsympathetic and refused to do anything to help us. On one of my phone calls, the agent hung up on me (I was always polite on the phone). All we asked for was for a flight credit so that we could fly with them next year and wouldn't have wasted our money. After our booking, we read reviews of Vueling Airlines and their customer service. We should have read them before our booking! Knowing what we know now about Vueling Airlines and all the other negative customer reviews, we wouldn't have booked with them! We never intend to fly with Vueling Airlines in the future and will never recommend them to anyone! They showed no compassion, caring or willingness to help us, their customers who had to cancel their trip due to Covid and circumstances beyond their control. Vueling Airlines, whom we read is one of the largest airline companies IAG (International Airline Group), which generates billions of of euros every year would not help us!

flight, I live on the other side of the world. Europe was part of our 5 month world trip starting 1st Aug. We have 21 flights to cancel. All other airlines are issuing refunds during this time. Disgraceful company, do no book with them, they do not care about their customers. Spend the extra $$ and go with someone else
Missed my plane due to gate changed which was not announced nor on the board – The only reason why I was travelling on Vueling was because RyanAir cancelled the route and put me on Vueling should have refused. The flight was sitting on the tarmac 45 minutes before schedule, they refused to help in any way and I spent 30 hours in the airport then had to pay €170 and travel through Athens to Corfu on Aegean Airlines.
Customer service non-existent – Our bags were lost in transit through Barcelona which is a common experience for passengers of this airline. The real problem is the total lack of customer service after this. Emails were not responded to or responded to many weeks later. Information about how to lodge a compensation claim does not exist and when I finally did lodge a claim no response at all. Do not book with this airline!
VY6252 Paris to Roma 4th Nov – A horrible airline company, cabin crew was very unfriendly and very discriminate CHINESE... The girl with long hair was very rude to me, and she thought Chinese don't speak well English, she was horrible horrible horrible. I will never ever flying with Vueling again. Crappy airline and crappy service.
Do not travel with this airlines – This is a low-cost Spanish airline. I had to cancel but have been trying to contact them for 3 months now, using their phone and website to recoup the airline taxes. Both of these services are intermittent. I am still waiting for their reply. I note on their Facebook page many customers unhappy with service and lost luggage.
