17 years old and still running great – Had mine for 17 years very happy had to change the temperature control once still works amazing highly recommend. Run your own 10amp cable if your not getting it to temperature not the fridge.

Mostly a great product – Mine is 7 years old. And I used when I went bush for work for a couple of years across the NT. Then it was placed on a solar system in a shipping container to continue making cold beer where it sees 50+ degrees daily. Only issues have been the solder in 12v plug somehow failed. But a new lead and we were away again.

Excelent small fridge / freezer – This fridge / freezer may not be suitable for everyone. It’s fairly small, but in appropriate vehicle, with reading instructions before hand, we were happy with our purchase. We utilize it as the support freezer for 7-days esky and esky works in combination as fridge. It preformed faultlessly on extreme raw terrine in Simpson Desert, on Rig Road, Madigan Line and Hay River Track (real raw 4WDriving) and other tracks of Australian Outback.

We were running it all time on -9’C and at night we switched it off totally. In morning freezer was still on -7’C.

I wouldn’t have any issue with insulation, as on deserts in winter can be during day as hot (if not hotter) than on coasts in summer.

Only issue I have with set-up of display and lid. Fits to our arrangment, very good as a freezer Why the digital display must be on the back, when I open lid, I can’t see the temperature and other way around… “That beats any common sense”

These days, everyone who have an access to computer, can usually study and compare a product manual / instructions to get good idea what is a product about. That is always my first step in purchasing of suitable item.

Terrible – It was expensive and I purchased because I was told by a person I trusted it was the best in it's class. This model has a non adjustable low voltage limit that just turns off when the battery drops below 12.4 volts and your stored goods are lost. You will find them for sale at any camping or caravan show think before you buy there are many other types on the market! LOOK BEFORE BUYING THIS TYPE

Mine will not work in any car or any 12 volt lighter point I have tried!

Service is less than poor

No repairer within 20 Klms of the city of Melbourne

Anyone I have asked for help simply could not care less I think their system stinks after they sell you a product

Don't buy this product unless they can prove it works Denis Scanlon 0412 342 192

It simply has never worked

It sure does have adjustable voltage limit! It's on the LED display in the form of a HI, MED, LOW setting. Get a decent car with 10AMP outlets or run your own cable. I just picked one up today second hand and it's awesome. Really great size and it still fits 40cans and 1.25Litre bottles standing upright! Waeco's are much quieter and they have lights inside them unlike Engels. Just hope Waeco keep up with the really great efficient German compressors.
