I just bought this model today. I set all my personal details as per the instructions. When I step on it as per instruction,it shows my current weight , difference in the start and current weight, shows different goal weight than it was set. Then it shows "Err" and switches off. What to do ?

Hi From memory ,i think what you did not do was when you start the scale do not wight yourself,start teh scale and then push the User1 button ,wait for it to show you all the info you imputed previously and then when it zeros in weight yourself again.

Kalinda, Had the same problem & decided that I had not made a mistake & that the problem was the machine & poorly researched instructions. Yes! the instructions mention that the error could be not placing feet on contacts properly but did not take into account the fact that not everbody has sweaty feet. Just stand on a damp flannel prior to standing on scales & bingo!

Just bought the same scales but may return to vendor as my scales are not saving my personal data.
