Used to work – I’ve had these scales for over 8 years. They used to work well - but recently I’m having the same issues as everyone else - wide variances in weight - changes of 1-2 kg between weigh in’s after a couple of minutes. I also did the same testing - moving between one place and another to see where was the best place in my bathroom to weigh-in. From… Read more
looking at these reviews I’m glad that mine worked for as long as they did. Not sure how long digital scales should work - but I think now it is time to look for something new.
Extremely disappointed! I will NEVER EVER trust the WEIGHT WATCHERS Brand again!!! – I would give minus 5 Stars if I could, and really, I don’t understand how Weight Watchers can give their name for such a useless thing! I was going to sign up for the Weight Watchers Program when I saw this scale at BigW and paid over $100.00 for it! From day one these scales have rendered inaccurate readings. It will permanently repeat the… Read more
previous weight. I have tested this by weighing myself with and without clothes - same weight is shown. Then I asked my husband to step on the scale to reset the last weight, jumped back on and came up with a completely different weight again. It has the habit of changes drastically (up to 3kg) within a few minutes, even though I am using the scale in the same place every time and on a flat tiled service. I also tried an experiment (a couple of times): I placed the scale in some different places and weighed myself 3 times, and it reads always the same weight as the previous 9 days, when I then place the scale in a different location, I astonishingly have gained (or lost) about 1-3kg. Then, when I place the scale back to its original location it will “read’ the “new” weight for the next week or so… That is very annoying, now I have to purchase a new scale Needless to say that, after this experience, I DID NOT sign up for the Weight Watchers Program and never will, and I will never buy anything with their name on it again!!!
Inconsistent reading +/- 2kg. Battery hardly lasts. Body fat ready varies ridiculous amounts – Inconsistent reading +/- 2kg. Battery hardly lasts. Body fat ready varies massive amounts amounts. Also a very expensive scale. Looks to have happened to lots of people. Should be a product recall and full refund. Show details

Never had an issue – I must admit I'm surprised by the negative reviews. I bought these scales two and a half years ago, and have never had a problem with them (apart from my brothers cat peeing on them when I first got them and the display now a little patchy, digits still black & easy to read). I replaced the batteries yesterday for the first time since purchase,… Read more
too. The readings have always been accurate and have not had fluctuations in readings as reported by others. Must have got the lucky set. Based on my personal experience with the WW WW125A scales, I would recommend them.
Good Scales but too weight sesitive – I purchased these scales and in my experience they are good with one niggling point - They are in fact too weight sensitive - The Weight Watchers 125A Scales will not give a reading if you move enough whilst on them to change the weight reading by more than 50 gm - I weigh 150 kg fully dressed and suffered 25 bone fractures when struck by a motor… Read more
vehicle in Feb 2009 - This can making standing still enough to get a weight reading a little difficult - On the positive side the Weight Watchers 125A scales come with a Ten Year Warranty and never mind all of the nonsense that some retailers will try to put you off with, if your Weight Watchers 125A Scales are in need of repairs within the 10 year Warranty and the retailer tells you you need to return your scales to the manufacturer, tell the retailer if they do not honor the warranty you will phone the A.C.C.C. and report them - Also the Weight Watchers 125A Scales have a "User" Mode in which you select your sex, age & height and then the scales will after measuring your body weight, will provide an estimate of your ideal weight goal, this will vary slightly as your weight changes until you reach your Weight Watchers 125A Scales recommended ideal weight. There are only four possible "User" records on the Weight Watchers 125A scales that I have purchased but I live by myself so this is of no concern to me.
Totally happy with our WW123a scales – We had an earlier model ww scale (maybe 15years old) and updated a couple of months ago. very happy with performance (can take time & concentration to set up - helps with two people) Still learning to absorb additional information - bone mass etc - but at 68 years takes a bit longer for me to learn new technology. Very happy with product.
Negative reviews
Awful experience – Amazing to read the reviews of others and find what we thought were issues peculiar to us are broadspread. Repeats the same weight time after time. Put them on a soft surface and weigh something, then back to a hard surface, and sometimes it will give you a new weight. Pretty much the same as everyone else.
Unreliable – Yep, you can get in 4 times and have 4 different readings within the space of a minute. They have been consistently inconsistent so will be abandoning them and purchasing another brand. Show details
Poor reliability. Very disappointed – Got on scales. Reading A. Get on scales 2 minutes later reading A. Next husband gets on scales Reading X. I get back on scales reading A + or - 3kg than reading 3 minutes ago. Yes put in new batteries - same issue. Out of warranty. All my hard earned $$$$$$ down the drain. Back to cheap and reliable Kmart scales. Very sad. Thought they’d be reliable coming from WW

Unbelievably bad – Inconsistent readings that are +/- 2kg at the same time, although it does take 20 attempts to get those readings. I step on the scales and wait... only for the damned things to switch off. These scales would be poor value at any price. Simply does not perform it's intended function.
Don’t buy weight watcher scales – I have never been so frustrated with a product that cost over $100.00. I get on them and they read the last week measure, I get off and try again, same. The next day I get on them and I’ve lost 1.2 kg, so the next week I get on them and they now weigh the same as the 1.2 loss measure. The next day I’ve lost .8, what the hell. Worst Morrell… Read more
breaking device ever, I’m going to axe them so at least I will use energy in the destroying process. And I thought you people were here to help us loose weight, not send us insane.
Faulty product! – It worked for a while but now when you step on it just flashes and then goes black and doesn't give a reading. Tried new batteries no difference. Very disappointed. It is about to go in the rubbish bin!
Unreliable waste of money – Ok for 2 years then recently decided to provide a reading 1 in 5 times. Changed batteries, made no difference. I just smashed them and will clean up the remains before placing in the bin. Yet another waste of time and money with an ironic name. Weight watchers, it stopped doing that and will definitely not do that again.

Repeats the last weight – Not sure why, but these scales have a habit of repeating the previous weight. I have tested this by weighing myself before and after breakfast - same weight is shown. Then I weighed something else to reset the last weight, jumped back on and came up with a different weight again - which was probably accurate this time. Just stupid really.
Worst scales I've ever had! – From day one these scales have rendered inaccurate readings. At times the same weight for weeks on end while weight has not remained exactly the same. Now the scales don't work at all displaying an ERR1 message which no amount of Google searching can shed any light on. They are only 1 year old and already rendered useless. Warranty isn't worth the paper it's written on.
NOT WORTH THE MONEY – These scales weigh you at the same weight all the time which renders them useless. I have actually checked my weight on other scales & this is a definite fact.
Very confusing! – I find these scales very difficult to use. My problem I know, but I can't read the body mass/fat % etc readings even with my glasses. Plus my weight seems to be the same for weeks and I know that's not right. I'm disappointed but will persevere as they were quite expensive.
Hate it! – The scale is very temperamental, does not work most of the time. I have changed new batteries many time but keep showing 'Lo' on the scale. The light will turn on but once one foot touched on the scales, the light disappeared. Very disappointed!!
Don't waste your money – Brought these scales 18 months ago have stopped working don't waste your money. Had an error message come up so i changed the batteries but still not working. Will never buy Weight Watchers brand AGAIN!!
Totally Annoying Scale. Not Worth the Money – Purchased this from BigW. Thought it would be OK considering it has been endorsed by Weight Watchers. It is very temperamental. It seems to give different weights every time I step on it. It switches itself off after 3 seconds which is absolutely ridiculous especially when you are trying to program it. It should have a 10-12 second switch off minimum. Not at all happy with this product and would not advise anyone to purchase one.
Do not buy – same issue as many other I have read. stopped working after limited use and now just comes up with ERR message. Would suggest other brands but def NOT this one
It doesn't work properly at all I want Big W in Renmark to refund me right now – many people have seen how this scale doesn't work properly and you should see yourself that this scale i Purchase for $69.00 you didn't even deliver the paperwork for the instruction manual..i have weight scales that are very exact in my factory and in three goes the original scale measured my weight in three different actions saying i am 73 kg then 71 kg then 72 kg lower than what my correct weight is which is 76 KG.

Very disappointing and a waste of money – Difficult and confusing to use. Inaccurate reading with numbers fluctuating between 1-3kg within minutes of a reading. Then it stopped working and we were unable to reprogram it. Purchased from Target. Lost receipt So no refund/exchange. Have to go through WW warranty if I could be bothered. Endorsed by WW, doesn't mean it's quality. My $25 Target bathroom scales are much better than this $80 product!
Need to purchase new scales – I bought these thinking they would be accurate. Found the different functions confusing however, my main concern is the inaccuracy of the weight. It changes 2-3 kg within a few minutes. I can gindown two kg after 5 minutes and yes I am using them in the same place every time and on a flat tiled service. Very annoying that I have to purchase new scales!
Don't be conned by WW endorsment – Thought by buying a more expensive set scales these would at least be accurate, according to this scale I gained 2.2kilo in 15 minutes. My 2004 Salter digital work better. WEIGHT WATCHER people don't be conned. Into garbage bin.
Terrible product, don't waste your money! – These scales don't give correct readings. I bought them to replace an old model that I had for 10 years. I regret buying these ones. The reading can vary 2-3 kilos within a minute. I have no idea how much I weigh after buying these. They are going in the bin and I will search for a different brand!
Waste of Money – What a complete waste of $80+ worked for about a year and a half with very minimal use, now in the bin. No doubt the digital scale I just purchased from Kmart for $12 will last longer.
Same issue as sconna - keeps repeating weight day in and out – Keeps saying the same weight, day after day. Took on a full water bottle while weighting and it told me the same weight. The bodyfat reading seems to differ though.
Totally frustrating, and useless for me – Good looking scales which work fine for anyone weighing less than about 70KG. However above 100Kg, they are totally useless as they almost always don't weigh (despite their claimed 182kg capacity). I recommend you buy a less exotic, simpler model, that simply weighs.
Very disappointed. I just don't trust the Weight Watchers brand anymore. I thought they were suppose – My scale only lasted 12 months. Now it just has an ERR message. I feel than I have been conned by Weight Watchers and now wont buy any of their products.
Dissapointed. Wont save settings – Was excited for these at first and then I saw the manual which put me off for a week. Finally read it through and it wont save user settings. Over it.

So hard to get a correctish weight – Waste of money they were a gift and they barely work. Constantly remembers the last weight and to reset you have to get someone lighter or heavier to get on or weigh yourself holding the bench to reset. Then weigh yourself, then you repeat the whole process to see if you get the same weight twice then it might be right. Very frustrating. Don't buy this product.

Waste of money! Broke down in less a year! – It just stopped showing anything except 'error 4' after 9 months of purchase. For this price and the brand, I was not expecting this! Total disappointment! Don't buy this one. Complete waste of money! Even though it's still within warranty, cos I lost my receipt so there's no exchange or return.
Poor Experience – I thought that the weight watches brand would guarantee a quality product but I'm extremely disappointed since I have taken these scales out of the box. I have entered my personal details in multiple times now and it never saves. Every time I try it again it has reverted back to the original setting. When it is actually set it weighs wrong. If I… Read more
stand on the sale in normal setting I am 4kg lighter than when I check my body analysis. I brought these sales because I wasn't to track this stuff. I don't have time to set and reset these scales over and over especially if the readings art actually true. :(
