The Weldclass FURY 185 MPST Pulse MIG/Stick/TIG Welder has proven to be an excellent choice for my needs. With only stick welding experience and no prior MIG welding experience, the difference it has made to my welding results has been remarkable. The FURY 185 is very intuitive to use. The synergic welding modes made it easy to get started… Read more

straight away, and I was quickly practising on a range of materials, including thin-walled tube, with excellent results.

I'm looking forward to tackling some aluminium projects once I add a spool gun.

I would highly recommend this machine to both beginners wanting an easy-to-use welder and experienced welders looking for a versatile, high-quality unit.

I went into Trade Tools at Burleigh looking to buy a Renegade Industrial 200amp welder, after talking with an employee he told me how good the Weldclass Fury 185amp welder is. I was hesitant about the price since it was $400 more but I am very happy with my purchase, the welder works amazing and is simple to use even for a beginner like me

I have found the Weldclass FURY 185 MPST Pulse MIG/Stick/TIG Welder to be an excellent choice for my needs. I have limited experience with stick welding and have previously owned an Ebay gasless mig that did nothing but make sparks and smoke. The Fury 185 is so intuitive to use with the Synergic modes allowing me to get started straight away… Read more

practicing on different pieces including thin walled tube. . First project is some double gate frames and a welding bench. Looking forward to progressing to some ally projects down the track. Highly recommend this machine to novices and experienced welders.

Purchased for home use, and I am not an expert! but I have owned and used other stick and mig welders previously however this welder out performs all past welders. Very happy with the mig welder using 0.9 gasless wire. Weld flows like a champion, had to turn the settings way down, started at 130 and ended up running at 70amps, Stick welder has a… Read more ·  1

lot more power than my ancient Transarc 140amp welder (but it is old). Run a 2.6mm rod at 75 amps, my old Transarc would have spat the dummy trying to burn a 2.6 mm at 75 amps. Haven`t tried the Tig torch as yet, need to teach myself the basics as I`ve never used a Tig before, (came with package deal) Overall very very good setup. Very easy to navigate through the digital screen and make selections. I thought it might be a bit complicated, but no it`s not. The synergic settings makes the machine a pleasure to turn on. Also has pulse mode which makes even my welding better. Would I recommend this welder? Yes exceptional value for money and has 7 YEARS warranty, what more can I say. Comes with a Promax 130 auto-darkening helmet, BZL24 3m MIG gun, work return/stick leads, gas regulator, gloves, MIG pliers, and cooler bag. (not sure what the cooler bag has to do with welders, but hey it`s free) I have inserted a couple of pics so you know this is a legit review. Please don`t judge my Mig welding as I am only a home handy man and still learning.

I'd been preservering with old equipment, so upgraded to this multifunction unit. The synergic guide based on welding type (Mig, stick, Tig) and material thickness pretty much gets it right the first time. Rarely need to adjust settings (unless chasing perfection). But for myself as a home DIYer, this is perfect. Works a treat. I'm not an… Read more

experienced welder (probably only weld something once or twice a year), so had to teach myself a few things understand wire speed adjustment and relationship of Volts to Amps. Hence why I mostly just use default settings and its fine. Its no doubt overkill for what I need, but I'm like Tim the Toolman Taylor and need MORE POWER, so went the 185, when really the next size down would have been enough. Overall, this is a nice unit and the 7yr warranty was a bonus.
