This welder is so versatile, compact and light for portability. It is user friendly and performs exceptionally well. It gets the job done, no problems. It has all the bells and whistles for beginners and professionals for quality work. I bought another one for my business and works flawlessly even when using power from a generator when out on a farm doing repairs on slashers etc. Show details

I am a metal sculptor, working with stainless steel, and other steels. I bought the Weldclass FORCE 201T TIG machine earlier this year and have given it a real workout in the past six months! This is a hard working machine with great performance at both high amperage and the very low amps needed for the delicate work. Weldclass has proven, over the years, to be a brand that I can count on in all sorts of weld associated gear. Show details

Bought this machine for use at home for small jobs. I am a qualified welder fabricator. Have found for a relatively cheap machine it works well and have minimal issue using it, so far the only slight issue i have is when welding aluminium on AC… Read more

that the high frequency doesnt always start the arc after longer welds. But for one of the cheapest TIGs on the market I can't complain or justify spending the extra on a premium brand as I'm only using it occasionally.

Follow-up  · The user manual for this machine states its best if the torch is plugged into the negative and yes did try like other machines (into the negative) but the start up welding is not as smooth and less consistent. Otherwise the machine should be set to Ac and the high frequency start on. I have also adjusted the previous and post gas flow as to 3-5… Read more

recommend this to a beginner or experienced welder looking for a machine that just does what it designed to do . Has all the features you need and I also use mine as a Tig brush to passivate stainless welds.

We Shall See How I Go – I have a history of oxy welding & brazing for many materials. Having purchased an older alloy boat, I need to learn A/C TIG. After looking around I found the Welclass 201T. It was more expensive than I was expecting, but there is not a big choice in A/C welders in my price range. I have not used it yet, but it was a good choice I believe, with a 7 year warranty on both the welder & face shield. Show details

Leaning to Tig weld with the Weldclass 201T AC-DC Tig welder – Purchased a Weldclass 201T Tig welder to learn how to Tig weld. This Weldclass Tig welder is well built and very easy to use. Not having used a Tig before it's a very steep learning curve but there is plenty of YouTube videos to help you learn. This welder has all the features needed to Tig weld all types of steel and aluminium. Supplied Tig torch… Read more

is of good quality as is the Argon regulator. I have also used the stick weld function and it work very well, arc starts are easy and this welder can produce good welds in stick mode.

Not bad – Great machine. Quality Tig lead, 8 metre lead straight out the box is amazing. I was very happy until I found out that the "201 amp" machine i bought, will only reach 170 amps on the DC cycle. Blatant missleading advertising in that regard. Aside from that, it is a beautiful little machine, even on the AC cycle Show details

Perfect machine for beginners or those looking to do some AC/DC TIG – I found this machine easy to use and set up, everything comes in the box to get started (even the gas reg which is rare these days!). This machine is great for anyone starting out or for someone that knows what there doing and in need of a AC/DC machine. Show details
