Weleda Skin Food Body Butter

Consider my skin fed – The Weleda Skin Food Body Butter comes in a small screw top tub holding 150g of product. I love the simplicity of the labelling, it's no frills and unpretentious. In fact the label hasn't even been applied perfectly, there's an air bubble through it which gives me the impression it was applied by hand, not machine. There's no fancy marketing or big claims. It says what it is and it says what it does. I love that the body butter smells like the ingredients, it has a soft citrus and lavender fragrance that's fresh, uplifting and not overpowering at all. It smells good enough to eat. The body butter is thick and creamy like it should be. I've been experiencing very dry, cracked elbows lately and thought they would really put the Skin Food to the test. The body butter instantly soothed my dry skin and absorbed hydrating my skin and leaving a non-greasy protective barrier. Within days my elbows were completely rejuvenated and soft.
