The wise choice! – I looked at all the slow cookers, but didn't like the clay pots or how liquid could gain entry between the cooker and the pot. This analogue model has no digital buttons or screens to stuff up. The stone bake enamel stick free pot is nice and light and wont chip or crack like a heavy clay one. The pot flares out over the cooker so any drips or steam will not go between the cooker and the pot. I like how the cooker is one piece rounded like an egg shell. It is very sturdy. The pot is easy to lift from the cooker. It does not have fancy handles on the sides of the cooker, but for all the listed advantages over the other cookers, this is the wise choice. Apparently the element is around the sides of the pot giving an even cook. I followed the instructions and were stoked with the results. For me the knob is hard to see the setting mark, but it is easily felt. less confusing than digital.
