Good suction, just a little too noisy – We have had this rangehood (700mm) for a year now. It has been working well. We mainly use it on no. 1 setting but occasionally put it on 2 if all the four stove elements are on to make sure the smells and steam head out. Highly recommend to duct it out through the roof, less noise and smell. Just need to purchase a separate kit and get someone to… Read more

install it. Easy to clean the metal undermount filter mesh but tricky to clean the inside fan blades as layers of grease stick to them as well.

Doesn't extract vapours and sounds like an aeroplane – The surface of the overhead cupboards (silk-finish Laminate) has been damaged by the vapours; this unit is as good as useless - you can see the steam pumping up the front of the cupboards when you're boiling something on the stove, even with the unit on high. And it is incredibly loud. So disappointed with our Electrolux appliances :( We had a… Read more

cheaper one (IAG brand) in our last house which worked better, never had damage to our cupboards there (same finish, we put that kitchen in as well) and used our stove a lot more than we have used this one.

Satisfactory except noisy – I purchased an entire kitchen of Westinghouse appliances. The rangehood is ducted some distance to outside with larger than standard ducting. We are happy enough with the performance but if you are trying to have a conversation or watch a tele program especially on the high setting forget it. It is very noisy. neat, not overly expensive very noisy especialy on high setting

Good suction! – I wanted an under mount unit with dishwasher safe filter units. And the filters themselves had to be of a sturdy make, not like a lot of those flimsy ones you see on the cheaper pull-out units. Westinghouse has excelled itself here again. The unit isn't the quietest (especially on the high setting), however, it does the job of extracting the cooking vapors out of the kitchen. Very pleased with this unit. Great suction. A little noisy
