Hello can anyone help. Recently moved into a rental property that has a Westinghouse Hollandaise electric underbench oven. I think this is an older oven perhaps more than 6 years old possibly 10. Cannot find model no.

The oven dial only indicates low, med, and high, while the grill dial has temperature ranges. How do I bake cakes, biscuits etc??

I am sorry I can't help. I have no instruction booklet with mine, but it is not the same as the one you describe; my oven dial has temperatures marked on it. I have found that by cooking my roast vegies for the required amount of cooking time I then have to put them under the grill to brown. Not a convenient or desirable way to cook. I have not ventured into cakes or biscuits yet as I can't afford to waste the ingredients if the oven does not properly bake them

Thank you, I appreciate your answer. I don't have any problem with regular baking eg roasts, vegetables, I just set the oven dial midway between med and high, sometimes closer to high, no problems with browning at all. It's just the cakes and other baked desserts!!!!!!. You need to be able to regulate the temperatures. I do not want to waste any more of my time and money.

Anyone from WESTINGHOUSE/ ELECTOLUX out there who can help ????
