Part of the pigeon pair we love – WFM3600WBL 360L Upright Freezer is 1/2 of the pair completed with the WRMRH3700 fridge and it has performed perfectly for at least 7 years, it is pacific silver which looks like stainless steel but doesn't show the ugly smears SS does. I am shocked to see the pair have been discontinued but they are probably doing what the car industry does, make… Read more
some small improvements and call them "ALL NEW" for this year etc.
Like any freezer the door is hard to open if you've only just closed it but the trick is to grab thr corner with you finges and push agains the frame with your thumb, this allows the door to open a little agains the flexible seal and allow air in which then lets the door open easily.
The pair fits easily in our fridge opening between the pantry and the wall oven and "make" the kitchen.
I give the pair four stars because the goverment mandate to use non-greenhouse gas wich cuts into the internal space a little due to larger nachinery required for the same job.
Great freezer – Bought this replacing an old Tucker box freezer. Am really happy with our choice. We bought the fridge model as well that makes this a fridge/freezer pair. The freezer is of good size and I can manage to organise groups of food well without being left way down the bottom like in a Tucker box freezer. The 3 draws and 4 adjustable shelves works well… Read more
for our household. Has an ice tray that works fine but we don't regularly use ice. Holds its temp well as I have a thermometer in side. To date has had no working issues.
Fantastic freezer but a throw away – This is our second set of pigeon pairs and the freezer has let us down again on our latest models. Westinghouse refuse to use a copper core in the linings of the freezer. The steel core piping must rust internally and you lose the gas. Around the compressor is copper for you to see but changes as it travels internally. Off to the tip and heaps… Read more
more research on my next freezer purchase. Still have the two Westinghouse fridges running though. UPDATE, I have had a retired refrigeration mechanic fix the freezer. He has moved the compressor to one side and retro fitted a box radiator thing. Working great again for just over two hundred bucks and still have my matching pigeon pair.
Great Freezer - has not skipped a beat! – We have had this Westinghouse freezer for a few years now and it has been one of the best white goods we have owned. Each to their own with any drawbacks, but we don't find it noisy. I like the fact it doesn't have container style storage on the doors as it makes this freezer easy to clean. The wire shelves pull in and out with ease to change… Read more
height, and there is the right amount of shelves to use for dividing into food types. I would recommend this freezer even years after we have owned it.
Good freezer, but very noisy – Good freezer. We've had for one month now and I still find the noise distracting, especially when it is quiet in the house. It's in our laundry which is almost the middle of the house. I can here it all over the house. It does stop running occasionally, but the motor is on more than it is off. The only other thing I would change is make the… Read more · 1
shelves a little narrower and put racks on the door. I miss this feature. Plant of space, freezers well. Too noisy. I wish I had gone with a small we freezer that want so noisy.
300L Westinghouse Upright Freezer WFM3000WBLH – Great freezer , was looking for one with shelves rather than draws and this one fits the bill , had a minor problem with the interior light , Electrolux customer service where great and the problem was fixed quickly and smoothly. we bought a westinghouse as we have had a good run with them before , hoping that continues Show reply
