One error message after another and non existent customer service

published

When this dishwasher is working it is actually fantastic, it washes really well and has great shorter cycles which are handy. But in the 2 months we have had it, we have just had issue after issue. We have been constantly getting 2 seperate error messages, the machine will stop working and then will just work again for a week and then the error messages will come up again. Customer service at electrolux are terrible and trying to charge me for a service call when the machine is only 2 months old. I wouldn't recommend the machine.

Great dishwasher that does what its supposed to do and a little more

published

As far as dishwashers go, this is great. It does what its supposed to do and that is wash dishes really well. Ive only ever used the the Eco function and it cleans dishes, cups, pots and pans effortlessly. The thing I love the most is the "extra dry" function. Everyone knows that a dishwasher full of plastic always comes out wet. When you live with a household that use a large amount of plastic containers, this function is a blessing. Drys plastic perfectly every time.
The adjustable top rack works well and is easy to change should you need to lower or raise.
My only criticism is that it is a little noisey, Apart from that, its perfect.

Without a doubt, the most unreliable dishwasher of all time. I have 3 in 3 properties. All failed.

published

Continuous fault codes, all inaccurate, the motherboard fails and I have bought so many it’s a joke. NEVER buy what Westinghouse put out these days. Absolute GARBAGE. Their fault has been a problem for over 10 years yet they still refuse to fix it, assuming a Class Action won’t be taken against them for knowingly selling faulty products.

Worked 4 or 5 times

published

Purchased this new less than a month ago as an upgrade to an old but functional dishwasher. In the same spot with same plumbing. The dishwasher worked no issues 4 or 5 times. Now it takes in water, immediately drains the water then stops and flashes f5.
We've checked the tap and it's fully open, done a reset and unplugged and tried again. Same result.
Have seen a lot of people online with this same issue. Wouldn't recommend at all.

Bad qaulity

published

Unpacked the dishwasher from new found to have rub marks on top panel so I contacted sales straight away and nothing was done.
2 months in to use the door latch would not latch properly/ failed and the same week it would not operate once closed the light would just flash.

Also terrible design with power button on the front as its extremely touchy and the door feels like its about to fall off

Worked great for 3 years

published

Was initially really impressed by this dishwasher. Excellent washing results and fits in loads of dishes. Well thought out interior. Worked like a dream for the first 3 years. Then started getting issues with the dishwasher stopping several times during the wash cycle. Four callouts from various technicians at Westinghouse could not solve the problem. Still kinda works, but constantly cuts out mid cycle, eventually finishes the cycle, but sometimes takes twice as long! Can't be left on it's own as I'm worried it may flood. So annoyed as expected this to last much longer for the price.

First few months was great but....

published

For the cost of this dishwasher I would have expected more. Initially I had no issues, washed and dried dishes well fabulous and then I had issues. First technician sent out I believe was not sure what he was doing and caused damaged to the door and kick plate. Second technician said there were no issues with the unit. I've been trying to sort this out for months with Electrolux. Issues have finally been resolved and I have ordered a different brand. The one/off button is a pain. If you knock it the unit turns on. Very disappointing

Does the job well but --

published

This dishwasher is a replacement from Westinghouse as our last one failed after two years and could not be repaired. To their credit it was supplied quickly and without question direct from Westinghouse, after waiting three weeks for the useless "The Good Guys Concierge" to do something.
It does the job well but there's a couple of annoying things that were not present on the last model. The control buttons are far too sensitive and we are constantly turning the machine on by mistake just by brushing against it.
The front of lower basket falls heavily down off the rails when pulling it out, this can easily lead to breakages.

Hi,
My WSF6606 dishwasher is leaking/throwing water from the flow meter hole which is where the water line connects on to dishwasher on the left hand side. Why is this happening all of a sudden? Dishwasher is approx 5 years old.
Thanks

I replaced the drain pump and the machine works perfectly except that it won't stop filling with water after cycle is finished. How best to fix.
