Not all the time, but the oven temp will be set for an amount and reach that temp. when the oven door is opened and closed the temp indicator will automatically go up to the highest amount. we have to manually reduce the temp. why is this happening?
1 answer
Hi Steve can't help with that one mine doesn't do that but if I set it to more than 220c it will stay on that temp for a short while then just switches off then have to let it cool down to reset.

Oven turns on, fan starts but won't heat. Grill also not heating. It's like there's some sort of lock engaged to prevent warming

My husband ordered the pyro 90mm oven (against my wishes, I just wanted a normal oven.) It’s got about 11 different functions (the 12th is the pyro option.) Someone PLEASE help me. If I just want to cook a roast or a cake or something like that, is it function 3 I should be using? We’ve had this oven now for nearly 12 months & I hate it. If a recipe (or even something simple like a roast) would normally take 1/2 an hour, an hour etc, I have to cook it for at least an extra 15-30 mins depending on what it is. Any hints would be appreciated

I love the oven but I have had to refer to the manual a few times to figure what setting I want. Use setting 2 as it is the fan forced. Setting 3 is only top and bottom elements on with no fan - yes, things will take longer to cook. Setting 6 is designed for cooking pizzas as it is bottom heat and fan-forced - I use this setting too!
Thanks for your reply Sally, I still refer to the manual trying to sort it all out. Do you take out the grilling trays so the heat circulates better? I’m honestly fed up with the oven, my husband said on Friday night “maybe you’re not using it right, maybe you haven’t got it on the right temperature.” Omg I was cooking a potato bake, it’s not that hard haha. I think he’s fed up with me complaining about it the poor bugger :)

Has anyone had problems with cooking times? My oven doesn’t seem to cook correctly. If a recipe suggests 30 minutes, it’s literally taking up to 50. It’s so annoying & has been doing it since installation
