Terrible – This unit was installed in my new house. I am finally taking it down and off it goes to the trash can. So so noisy; you cannot hear yourself talk to the person standing next to you in the kitchen. It is being replaced with a Whispair Silent range hood.

not recommended – we bought this range hood from ikea. we has an issue with the front buttons with the lights not working/ also this range hood is very noisy when on. also the custoer service is very bad, after i raise the light issue a month ago i had to do plenty of follow up to chase them up with whirlpool and their sub-contractors, still my issue hasn't been fixed yet.... and the way whirlpool handles the issue is very dissapointing from a customer point of view. do not buy this range hood. look good that's all noisy + faulty lights + poor customer service fom whirlpool

Terrible – If you want something that looks good then buy it... unless you also want it to work... i.e. it's rubbish, dont buy it! We have the 90cm stainless steel version which looks nice and goes well with our newly installed modern kitchen. 1. SOOOO LOUD! We actually don't use it because it's hard to have a conversation with it on. It's like having the vacuum cleaner on in your kitchen (very annoying).

2. It also doesnt seem to do a great job of extracting. can't say we've had a lot of experience using it but when we have used it there doesnt seem to be much of a difference.
