Windex - used to love it – I have always used winded. Purchased two new bottle in new packaging and it’s rubbish!! I can’t get the streaks off mirrors!!! Even tried mentholated spirits to remove streaks!!! Very disappointing!! Won’t buy that again!!!

Better as lubricant than window cleaner! – And its a really good window cleaner! This saved me in one of the lowest points of my life. Distraught due to the effects of alcohol I became incapacitated after a ring became stuck on my finger. But windex, a mere 1/4 cup, was there when I needed it most. The only glass cleaner I use – The only glass cleaner is use. I’ve seen some reviews that say windex leaves streaks on mirrors and glass and takes forever to dry. I’ve never had that problem. I never get streaks and it literally dries in a second. The best way to use windex is with paper towels. Don’t use regular towels or microfibre towels.  Show details

Whats happened? – Windex was always my go to product for glass. Recently using it ,it leaves streaks and smudges. I did my mirror wardrobes 3 times and still bad.Obviously the formula has changed and unfortunately so has the result it now gives. Another brand I had life long connection with that now has ceased.

Windex glass original – I find the positive reviews on this product rather incredulous - seriously Windex does nothing to make cleaning glass easy. instructions should say 'spray, wipe with numerous cloths to dry, wait an hour then again polish with a soft cloth'. I'm with others - vinegar and water is far more effective and costs about 10 cents a bathroom clean. Windex does only 2 shower recess cleans for nearly $5. Do the maths and save yourself the money and effort on this less effective product.

This product ensures increased sales – I have windows that face west at sunset and when the sun hits full on I always see multiple streaks and smudges. I cleaned my windows three times with your product without getting clean windows. Frustrated I grabbed the vinegar out of the cupboard and used it to wash the windows. Leaves streaks on all our glass products! – My wife ( who does 99% of cleaning) has just thrown out your product! This product leaves everything streaker than when she started!

Windex is fantastic – I was using Windex to clean my car windows, forgot it was under one of the wheels and drove off. I hit this bottle with my goddamn car. Picked it up, still sprayed fine. Works like a dream. Tough product, highly recommended. Windex has my vote. And my car's.

Great product - cleans all glass and similar surfaces – I usually buy a bottle of this, and have found no problems with it at all. It gets all my windows clean, even cleans glass cabinet doors with a streak-free shine.
