The Woolworths 35 hr Sourdough Loaf White I bought at Gateway, Palmerston last week smelt of and tasted of garlic which I dislike. Was this loaf baked together with items containing garlic? Show details
Follow-up · I didn’t eat all of the loaf because I dislike garlic. Package did not mention garlic. Texture was expected as loaf was baked same day. The store was advised by email but I had no response.
Not real sourdough – Terrible - not real sourdough - contains commercial yeast. Doesn’t have the depth of flavour or texture of a good sourdough. Show details
Sourdough flop – Bought the 30 hour sourdough crust like boot leather bread inedible but the birds loved it Just because we pack something in a brown paper bag with a cellophane window & charge double the price doesn’t mean the contents are any good It’s says UGH! on the label & I agree!$&@“! Thanks
