A nice toy for the courtyard not for the garden – To replace my 20 years old two stroke engine line trimmer, I was searching for a battery powered line trimmer with easy to operate. Based on high star review & experts' recommendation, I bought this cordless line trimmer from Amazon. But I was extremely disappointed after opened the case – the trimmer designed to have only a single & very thin (1.6 mm) line - definitely not designed for the garden work! Tested WORX WG163E.3 line trimmer and two batteries are good for just over 1 hours’ work without interruption. It works but it has less power to trim the edge of strong buffalo grasses – spent almost double time to do the same job compared to the petrol line trimmer. For just over an hour, half roll of manufacturer installed trim line has gone. This is not surprised me as it uses only 1.6mm thin line! But what will be the ongoing cost just for the trim line? The weight distribution is completely not balanced at the handle position – feel so heavy compared to my much heavier petrol line trimmer. It is good for a courtyard but not suitable to maintain the lawn.

Ok but not brilliant – Had my Workx drill for years and love it so I thought I would stick to workx. The blower might just blow out my birthday candles maybe. The snipper is good. Easy to use but I wouldn’t try it on heavy duty stuff
