Yates Garden Sprayer 5L

Rubbish Company Support and Rubbish Product – Required a pressure sprayer to control weeds on typical suburban city size block. Purchased Yates 5lt pressure sprayer April 2017. Developed a leak just before warranty expired in March 2019 in the bottom of the plastic tank where the 2 halves are joined. Was refunded money by hardware store. Purchased another identical one in March 2019. In March 2022 this 2nd sprayer developed a leak in the same location as the first one did. Contacted Yates, supplied them with photos and information that they had requested and was told as it was out of warranty they would not do anything. I explained to Yates that the sprayed was not used for at least 6 months in 2021 as I was interstate and generally it is used about 6 times a year. This product is now not available and I assume it has been withdrawn because of a design or manufacturing fault. Basically each sprayer only lasted 2 years.
